Loads of reports flying around suggesting that Ben Whites next on the list to be getting a new contract, cementing him into the Squad. He still has 3 years left on his current contract, paying in the region of around £120,000 a week. I'm sure the focus will be more towards an increase in wages, fully deserved. Along with adding another year or 2.
Ben at the beginning of the Season whilst Partey was surprisingly playing at right back, was chosen to partner Saliba in the centre of defence, therefore leaving Gabriel on the bench. Shows just how much Arteta believes in him.
I thought White against City yesterday was excellent. Maybe doesn't get the amount of credit he deserves sometimes.
Feel sorry for the lad not getting an England call up. But least he's having abit of rest...

I can't lie throughout the 2nd half I was as nervous as Raya was in the first half.
Would have been a completely different game if it wasn't for the referee. Kovacic should have been off straight away not on a yellow.

We stuck in, stuck together, wasn't the best we've played but that doesn't matter, we got the 3 points. We have beat City in the league again and Pep didn't look very happy at the final whistle. That's worth cheering about...
Haaland, did not have 1 shot either. Saliba and Gabriel are a brick wall.

I was begging for us to get the second goal, got 2 weeks of the clowns during Internationals going on like there in with a chance of a League title since way back in 1961. The team that come 3rd in a 2 horse race let's not forget.
