Many of you who have been with our tribe for years know what I’m taking about. From my first meditation to all the other personal growth areas I have tried to improve on.

It’s not easy, but it is SO worth it.

Being comfortable with yourself, your own mind, and training your mind like a wild horse that you must break is the most important thing any of us can do. When you do, you will have the whole universe open up to you.

It’s a daily practice, that gets easier with the work you put in.

I love you and believe in you, there is a reason you are here with us.

Use these little signs and wins to compound and make yourself the person you dream of.
It’s the little things that count.

Stack them, brick by brick and build the you that is in your dreams.

Good afternoon my Tribe,

Wow! Lots of moving parts. We have been going at it for over a year now here and I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Have you ever been in that spot when you tackle a project or job that is so massively overwhelming that it seems impossible?

This has been (and still is!) a learning experience that I am very grateful for. There have been so many challenges that some days seem like it is 2 steps forward and 3 steps back. It's all about the pursuit of growth, being the better version of myself that's been the real gem of this - working with different trades, hiring, training staff, and most importantly learning new things myself.

I have the blessing of being the son of a general contractor in the '80s and 90's; I'm probably dating myself a bit here. I have been on many job sites as a young man absorbing the things my father did - helping paint, texture, learning plumbing, electrical etc.

I am not afraid of hard work or challenges and that's probably the biggest hurdle anyone will face. Everything and anything is possible if you have the "will" to do it.

JFK once spoke about going to the moon, and the scientist said that all that was needed was the will to do it. These words resonated with me...

In that light, there are a few nice weeks left before it starts to get really cold. Vegas is funny as Halloween is our marker - typically it drops 20-30 F overnight that very day.

So, take this opportunity to make a quick trip out of town, see old friends or just have some YOU time.

Good morning my Tribe,

Well, this is true for all avenues in life. I had the “Will” to get it done. The budget was 1/3 of what they said was needed for a big Architectural and Engineering firm to get it done. Not to mention the timeline was even longer. I didn't see any other options.

I often take on HUGE challenges every couple months that are so big that I don’t know how I will get them done. I just know I’m my heart that it will happen. Maybe not the way I want it, or expect it, but it'll get done.
For instance this project I can say I totally underestimated. I was super ambitious at the start, saying it would be completed in 90 days.
I didn’t even get my permits for 6 months!
That goal was out the window… One of the great things that happened by taking on this project is the many amazing tradespeople I have met that will be friends for life. We had many obstacles in our way. But that was not going to deter us. I had the support of my family and the people close to me and you! The people that count on us to make the best products and continue to get better.

That was all I needed. It's been long days, even longer nights, every day for the past 1.5 years.

But we are close!

Good morning, my TRIBE,

You guys know that I’ve been working hard building out a new facility, literally putting in 16 to 18 hour days for the last 18 months.

I’ve been beating myself up over not being done, not hitting deadlines ( that I set), and just being hard on myself. I was depleting my energy and wasting my time while doing so. I needed to hear this, and maybe you do to:

Time is everything, and our moods are changed by time and effort it takes to get things done, and how your energy is expended.

We all have a finite amount of energy daily, and when living our life, especially those difficult times, it takes more energy and time. I needed to get my life back.

I am so driven that I work a lot, but sometimes, it’s not as efficient as I would like it to be. That changed the other day after listening to their podcast.

It was like a switch that turned on that I needed to hear. About beating myself up over previous mistakes. Thinking negatively about something and not putting myself on the high-flying disc. ( thank you Ester Hicks)

There is enough negativity, problems, and challenges in the world. To also Worrying about the unknown can even attract more negativity.
There are laws in this world that have been a part of our lives since the beginning.

Laws that help you or hurt you. Your choice. These laws can bring you happiness and success or bring you to a living hell.

I like to take a moment or moments to be grateful every day and bring my best to you and the ones around me.

Good morning my TRIBE,

The most important role anyone can play in this world is being a great parent. Work is work, finding purpose is great, doing something you love... awesome, but...

Think about it: after we leave this Earth, what's left? Our legacy is our kids. It is important to be the best role model for them. Not just preach it to them, but lead by example. It is not easy, and for those who want more out of life, this is one way to get it.

Being selfless, considerate, and thoughtful has all come to me from becoming a parent. There are so many lessons they have taught me, and in the short time I have been blessed with having them, it's truly amazing.
I am a better man because of them.

I'm very proud of my kids, and any mother on this Earth should be proud of themselves. They are at the heart of the family.

It's a job that starts at 6 AM and doesn't end till 10 PM. No payment other than the joy that those little people bring to us. And wow, it's totally worth it. Hear me out...

Yes, they can be difficult, from wiping butts to no sleep to running all around town to bring them to practice, and if they're fighting or not listening, etc… It can be difficult, I get it. But I don't focus on that.

I focus on coming home from a long day and receiving hugs and kisses; they look up to me like I'm the most important person in their life. As parents, we are! So... I can go on talking about being a father for hours, but I just wanted to say to all those parents or those soon-to-be parents. I'm proud of you! You are making a difference. I always say, "its the best job ever"!

It is the most under-appreciated job on the planet. That is also the most important one.

I have learned many things over the years on food production, and want to share more of my knowledge with you. And I will show you more of what I can do in the future.

It's funny ( not really ), but when I first started out, Nitrates were the staple for meat snacks. It is literally a poison that needs to be handled with protective gear!

This has been put in our foods for years... I refused to use it since day 1 as I knew there was a better way. Even with traditional jerky, this is not needed if you have the knowledge...

Knowledge is power! Let's bring back food to its roots and not sacrifice flavor for health!

Happy Labor Day!

This is for you! All the hard work you put in, day in and day out. Up early, working late, nights, weekends, holidays…

From all of you building this country to being a part of it and making it flow, we all are part of something greater and bigger than all of us.

Today goes out to all of you, making this country the best it can be. It takes a village (or a tribe) to do this, and it’s important to remember that. Sometimes we take things for granted.

Today, make sure to appreciate the ones who are working the jobs that might go unnoticed. We all have a part in this world, whether big or small…it’s our choice.

We are all part of the bigger picture to make the world a better place.
