🔮One of the speakers who will help and enlighten us with the careers we are about to take in the future is Dr. Mary Queen Komoda. She is the Regional Vice President of IMMERI International, a fast-growing and award-winning Direct Selling Company that focuses on high-quality food supplement products. A motivational speaker, mentor, trainer, and life coach. She has strong leadership experience in the direct selling industry with a genuine passion for health and wellness. 🩺

Dr. Komoda, a former elected SK youth counselor in the Philippines, is also a women’s empowerment advocate. She demonstrated this by effectively leading multiple entrepreneurship and corporate social responsibility projects in many African countries. In addition, she has an exceptional track record in her 15 years of professional corporate experience promoting the health and wellness industry in the community, has won several international leadership and entrepreneurship awards, and has paved the way for substantial business opportunities and personal development of her mentees.

We all have come so far already, with the new year on the horizon, I wish that we all embrace it with an open heart and go forward with faith, kindness, optimism and courage.

May this coming year lead us on a new exciting adventure, complete with life-changing positive experiences and deeper friendships.

What are you most proud of in 2021?

It was not an easy year, but we strived to remain steadfast and resilient no matter the journey we faced not only in the pandemic period but in our entire life. I firmly believe that our Heavenly Father never makes a lock without a key.

When everything went upside down when Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt spread, I focused on what I could control, Myself.

When things don’t go our way, it’s so easy to get engaged in wrong thoughts and ideas we have no power over.
It’s being mindful, not wasteful.

Within our control are our own opinions, attitudes, dreams, and goals. Trying to control or change what isn’t within your control will only drain your energy and leave you in fear.

So remind yourself of this:
Mindful, not Wasteful.

It is true that the best investment you can make is an investment in yourself. So I chose to focus on further developing myself, my career, learning new things, challenging myself for further studies, to build stronger meaningful relationships, and everything followed. This year resulted in achieving my Doctorate Degree and Winning 4 International Awards from different countries and prestigious organizations. Indeed, your only limit is your mind, and as long as you have faith in God, you can achieve what you believe.

I am really grateful for this huge honor given by the African Leading Women at the Women Power Conference 2021.

Being chosen as 1 among the Top 100 is truly surreal and I may be the one accepting this great honor, however, this recognition belongs equally to the amazing teams that I have had been blessed to work with at the various stages of my 14 year career and my love and respect for Africa grows deeper.

Looking forward on to the next great things that we can achieve together. Thank you!!!

When we compare ourselves to others, we magnify on all of their strengths and achievements and ignore our own.

You can’t change what you were born with, but you can change how you perform and respond. Instead of looking at your weaknesses as flaws, you should embrace them for what they are and turn them into your greatest strengths. Other peoples' mistakes will never make you successful.

Jealousy is a terrible disease, choose to be Better not Bitter.

The COVID-19 has altered reality in different ways, however, let's not get tired of finding motivation amidst the pandemic crisis.

The actions and reactions that we take as a result of our thoughts truly define us.
