Bhumisparsha

In Sanskrit, bhumisparsha means “touching the Earth.” It is often associated with the “Earth witness” mudra, the gesture the Buddha made to call forth the natural world to bear witness and validate his potential for enlightenment under the Bodhi tree. Following this example, Bhumisparsha is an emerging ta***ic (Vajrayana) Buddhist community committed to “touching the earth” through the study and practice of personal transformation, beloved community, and collective liberation through embodied spirituality. We are a community passionate about exploring ta***ic Buddhism in a way that has profound relevance and meaningful power in our ever-changing multicultural world.
