Ma's Tasty treats

So many people message me after they get a cake and ask me how I get it so moist. A few years ago someone told me to try bake with duck eggs but found them hard to source and a friend put me in touch with Harry who owns a free range duck farm. I gave it a go and haven't looked back since I only ever use duck eggs now for baking. I've won quite a few first and second place prizes at both the tullow and tinahely show and I put it down to the fact that I use these eggs. Thank you Harry for always keeping me supplied, Harry's eggs are available in super Value but if you have trouble sourcing them give me a shout. Even if you are a little bit nervous about baking give these a go, even use a packet mix there's no shame in it, I always have some in the press for last minute cakes for my kids (I don't use them in cakes I sell) there is nothing more satisfying than making your own cake and realising how much nicer it is than some cakes in the shops. Hi folks unfortunately due to restrictions my little surprise didn't work out this weekend. Hopefully in the coming months we will have some better news. I am gonna run a little competition next week for a front line worker for 12 cupcakes as a little thank you for everything they are doing for us. Stay safe every one and enjoy the beautiful weather.
