Tennessee HOSA
An international student-led organization preparing students for a future in healthcare.
Tennessee HOSA-Future Health Professionals,
It has been a year of outstanding growth, transparency, and success. Every moment serving this organization has truly been an honor, and we are so beyond grateful and thankful for the love and support this organization has brought to our lives. This has been the opportunity of a lifetime and we could not have done it without you.
We dare you to continue digging into your passions, strive for your goals, and to continue to build the friendships you have created throughout this organization. We Dare You to Create.
With all of our hearts we want to thank you for this year. We wish you all the best for the future, this home, and this family.
With lots of love,
Your 2023-2024 State Executive council,
Maria, Russell, Aaron, Laney, McKenzie, Sarah, and Raelynn

Let us all wish our Secretary/Treasurer, Sarah, a happy birthday!
Happy birthday to our outstanding east Tennessee Vice President, Aaron!
Happy birthday to our President-Elect, Russell!
Medicine and Innovation night was such an amazing and exciting experience! Maria was given the opportunity to see numerous innovative and diverse hands on experiences that happen every day in the medical field! She also was given the opportunity to speak about HOSA, her journey, and how we can apply the skills we learn in our every day lives. We would like to thank all Williamson County high schools for inviting us to the Medicine and Innovation night!
Happy belated birthday to our west Tennessee VP, McKenzie!
We are excited to announce that Governor Bill Lee has proclaimed November 6-10 as Tennessee HOSA- Future Health Professionals Week! We thank him for his continued support!

Put these on and pose @ WLA!
Washington Leadership Academy was truly an unforgettable experience. By getting to engage with other state officers, touring the city, and so much more, we expanded our leadership skills! We got the authentic D.C. experience, from riding the metro to advocating at the U.S. Capitol—and exploring the Smithsonian museums! We hope to use the leadership skills we learned to give back to Tennessee HOSA.

Your executive council had a blast at COLT! We absolutely loved getting to interact with everybody (along with the rock wall climbing and archery) and hope that your chapters learned something in the process as well! We can’t wait to watch all of you grow!
Hello Tennessee HOSA!! I’m Maria Castellano serving as your 2023-2024 TN HOSA President! This year I will be attending Lipscomb University to study Pre-med Biology. I LOVE coffee, and I really enjoy sightseeing, reading, shopping, and meeting new people!
This year I look forward to working along side the executive council to help grow this organization and focus on officer transparency. I am super excited and pumped for all of the amazing things happening this year as we DARE TO CREATE!
Hey there Tennessee HOSA! My name is Russell Riggs, your new President-Elect. I am extremely excited for the next year ahead of us, and to get the chance meet as many members as I can! One thing about me is that I will stop and have a conversation with anyone I can - any chance I get, so never be afraid to say hey to me! I am a Senior at Giles County High School and currently serve as my chapter’s VP of Public Relations. I used to compete in Biomedical Debate and CPR/First Aid. I also play the Tenor Saxophone, and have been the Drum Major for my schools marching band for three years now! I plan on going to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and obtaining a Doctorate in Biology. In my free time, I love to listen to Adele, Sam Smith, and Mac Miller; I also enjoy playing an occasional tennis match! Till next time, see ya later Tennessee HOSA!
