#2: Class Size: The class size is limited to 4 students between the age of 4-12 years. The idea behind limiting the number of students is to help you to pay attention and manage the class easily while still allowing the students peer to peer interaction.

#3: Class Timings: The standard class timing is set according to the peak working hours. You have to teach between 6:40 pm and 09:10 pm from Monday to Friday. Additionally, there will be late-night of 30 mins between 8:40 pm to 11:40 pm for each class.

#4: Remuneration: Want to know how much you will earn? Magic Ears pay ranges from $18 per hour to $22 per hour, but there is no price for the great experience and feedback that the teachers enjoy here.

#5: Syllabus and Teaching Materials: The curriculum is pre-planned and ready for teachers to implement. You will get all the teaching materials that you require to teach successfully. The licensed software is a delight for you and your students.

Selection Process:

After the initial screening a simple, 3 step selection criteria are followed and if successful, you are hired:
1) Demo interview 1
2) Demo interview 2
3) Trial classes (2-5)
The first demo interview is undertaken by Magic Ears to check your technical proficiency, i.e. how well do you work on the Magic Ears platform? Are you well-acquainted with the buttons and tools? How adept you are in managing sound and video quality?
The second demo interview consists of a question and answer round which lasts about 25 minutes. Once through, you will be asked to demonstrate your teaching techniques and skills, your overall teacher persona.
After these two demo interviews, the next phase is trial classes. You will take these trial classes based on which you will receive real feedback. The number of trials will vary between 2-5 sessions, depending on the feedback.
If you fare well in all these, then the last step is a background check before you get to sign your contract with Magic Ears and start booking classes. The duration of our teaching contract is 6 months which may be extended if you have a good evaluation and reviews.
