⭐Create a Diversion. Your baby needs tummy time to develop the strength to lift her head, but she probably doesn’t like the position. She will, though, if her big sib turns it into a game. Have him place a few toys just out of reach and then encourage the baby to creep toward them (“C’mon, you can do it. Yay, you reached the teddy!”).
⭐Talk Back. When your baby begins to coo and later, babble, help your older child learn the right way to respond. “Explain, ‘If she says, ‘Ooh, aah, aah,’ that means she wants us to say, ‘Ooh, aah, aah’ back to her. That this is her way of communicating and our way of showing that we hear her.

We often forget that magic is all around us. We make magic... beautiful magic. A man walked into a New Jersey Toys “R” Us and did a little more than the usual holiday shopping. A Secret Santa has spent more than $10,000 to pay for dozens of holiday layaway orders at a New Jersey toy store. The good Samaritan, who identified himself as "Charlie K," went to the Toys R Us in Cherry Hill on Friday to do some shopping for his son.
While at the store, he decided to pay for 62 layaway orders of strangers — totaling $10,780 overall — and bought an additional $2,000 worth of items to give to Toys for Tots by having everyone who was inside the store pick out three toys to donate.
The man said he wanted to "fulfill some Christmas wishes for people."
When you think of buying happiness, you probably think of spending money on yourself. That's perfectly normal, but there's a strong case for spending money on others to create happiness. Are You Totally Ready For ?
⭐Lay your baby on her back or put her in a reclining bouncy seat.
⭐Put a finger puppet on the index finger of each hand.
⭐Bring your fingers slowly into your baby's line of sight and wait until she focuses on the faces. Then, speaking slowly, introduce each puppet.
⭐As each puppet speaks, bend your finger forward so the puppet bows to your baby. Wait a moment, as if your baby were answering, then continue conducting a one-sided conversation between her and each puppet.
⭐Don't expect your baby to be able to follow the puppets' movement with her eyes and head – it'll take her about two or three months to develop this skill. Instead, just let her enjoy the interaction with you.
