1 in 3 people suffering from diabetes are at the risk of developing vision-threatening diabetic retinopathy. Raising awareness, early detection, timely interventions and providing best eye healthcare are crucial in preventing diabetic retinopathy (DR).

I am happy to support the mission to prevent needless blindness. On World Diabetes Day (14th Nov) Panchayati India Foundation, Crystal Crop Protection Limited and Dayal Eye Centre conducted free eye health awareness program for farmers and their families at Village Jakhoda, District Jhajjar, Haryana, India. Over 400 villagers were screened for vision and diabetes. Surgery would be provided free of cost to all those in need.
