The Department of Information and Communications Technology Region 3 - ILCDB Tech4ED Project will conduct a FREE 3-Day Digital Literacy Training to upgrade one's computer skills.

The training schedule is on September 16-18, 2022, Friday to Sunday @ 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm via zoom.

Digital Literacy Training aims to provide ICT-related information that will enhance the knowledge of participants and, in the long run, provide them with opportunities for employment and/or entrepreneurship. The training shall include topics on Basic Microsoft Office Applications including Word Processing, Excel, and PowerPoint Presentation.

The COVID-19 pandemic has wrought havoc on life as we know it. Although its damages cannot be minimized, it teaches us the importance of finding the positive stories amidst the uncertainties.

In the middle of the chaos, we in the Department of Information and Communications Technology Luzon Cluster 2 - Tech4ED Program continue to provide access points for everyone including the indigenous communities in far-flung areas to bridge the digital and education divide, and to promote grassroots development and opportunities for inclusive growth and poverty reduction.

The awareness seminar on Philippine National Public Key Infrastructure (PNPKI) in partnership between Department of Science and Technology Region - III (DOST-III) and Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) slated on July 2, 2020 at 2:00-5:00 in the afternoon via Zoom and Facebook live.

Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) allows users of public networks like the Internet to exchange private data securely. PKI is essentially a set of hardware, software, policies, personnel and procedures needed to create, manage, distribute, use, store and revoke digital certificates. The PKI is one of the core services being offered by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) that will foster trust in the government by ensuring secure and reliable online transactions.
