This workshop will offer coping tools and resources for addressing the unique stressors of being a spouse of a First Responder. We will discuss and practice tools for addressing stress, fatigue, and chronic pain due to the effects of secondary trauma to the body. We will detox the mind and body from past patterns, and build new mental-circuitry in order to gain RELIEF.

My Story
My focus for the past 15 years has been in the Health and Wellness arena. I am a former co-owner of a successful physical therapy practice and a certified yoga instructor. Bringing yoga into my life has been one of the single most impactful things in my life. Yoga has given me a source to tap into for energy, strength, and courage, as well as a place of safety and peace.
Through my physical therapy practice, I specialized in guiding yoga practices that were therapeutic and therapy-based in order to compliment rehabilitation goals. Through Purple Lotus Wellness Yoga, my aspiration is to bring yoga to all individuals and to encourage emotional healing, regardless of physical limitations.
My wish is to facilitate others to tap into their own well to find their energy, strength and courage. To access a small haven of peace and wellness in a safe, non-intimidating environment. To support those who serve others and give them an outlet in which to recharge, refresh and re-energize. To allow all individuals a place to de-stress and re-fuel in order to perform better in the world and in LIFE.
