‘I HAVE NO TIME TO TRAIN’ Is everyone’s biggest excuse when it comes to training! This was the most common response when asked what do you struggle most with when it comes to your fitness journey! Before you continue reading I challenge you to open the ‘screen time’ in your phone settings and tell me how much time you spend #1 On your phone and #2 On social media. If it’s more then 10 minutes then you’ve got no excuses! Put down your phone and follow this simple cardio workout! I am limited to what I can do right now so my workouts include bucket loads of bike, lunges and core work! 🤣🙌 THE WORKOUT: 60 seconds bike! You can use an alternate cardio machine or 60 seconds of fast mountain climbers! 10 x curtsy lunges 10 x reverse lunges Oh the same leg then swap legs! 🔥🍑 10 x butterfly sits ups 10 x flutter kicks 10 x cross cross 10 x v-sit Repeat 5 times! HIGH VOLUME FOODS 🥒 🍓 .. are foods that have low calorie density per serving. These foods are useful when adhering to a deficit AND also help reduce cravings and over snacking as they allow you to eat larger portions while keeping you fuller for longer! Many high-volume foods are nutrient-dense, providing essential vitamins, minerals, and dietary fiber. A diet consisting of high-volume foods can also be more sustainable long term because it promotes fullness and satisfaction. People are more likely to stick to their calorie deficit and fat loss goals when they enjoy what they’re eating and don’t feel overly restricted. EXAMPLES OF HIGH VOLUME FOODS: VEGETABLES: Leafy greens, zucchini, bokchoy, cucumbers, carrots FRUITS: Berries, watermelon, and oranges LEGUMES: Beans, lentils. BONE BROTH - Soups with a clear broth, loaded with vegetables and lean protein, can be satisfying and low in calories. If your goal is to lose body fat and maintain a calorie deficit, incorporating more high-volume foods into your diet can be an effective strategy to control your intake!
