First leg of the tour smashed! Thank you to aw ma wee darlins who came along to see me & the boys. We sang, we danced, we talked utter pish and we had a wonderful time. Older, the EP is out.
This is my first original body of work I've ever released and I'll be honest ma emotions are all over the place.
This EP is me hitting 30. Though a reckon if 15 year old me saw me now she'd be pretty chuffed! This EP is 30 and beyond. It's over a year of hard work and dedication. It's life lessons, pain, loss, heartache, anger, starting over & acceptance. It's a celebration of life instead of a pity party.
And now it's yours. This is Older.
Huge thank you to Lottie, Kieran, Ben, Newton, Robin, Marie, Em, Steve, Tom, BARK PR, Phil & 3tone. Without you this EP wouldn't look or sound anywhere near as perfect as it does and the songs wouldn't have reached as many ears as it has.
Thank you to my friends, family & loved ones for the constant support & encouragement.

Here's a wee bit eh the back story behind Open Road. How it started, where it came from and how it came to be. I've had a lot of life changes the past 3 years. Some exciting, some scary and some too personal to say. Starting again is hard but a promise you if there's even the tiniest wee spark in you that believes you can do it, you will. Do it scared and keep moving forward. ππ

It's mental to think that this time last year I was doing my first festival run completely solo armed with a guitar, a gingham dress and no idea how the world would react to me. One year on, I'm so much more comfortable on stage, playing almost entirely my own original music and this time I'm armed with electric guitars and two of the best lads going.
To Ben & Kieran, thank you for bringing the songs to life and letting the world hear me & ma tunes much more clearly. Thank you for your endless talent, patience and trust. You're the best band a lassie could ask for and this is just the beginning! π
