how true is this?

On Brighton Seafront

6:50am precisely, the rain has stopped
And the sun is soothing a painters sky
We sneak out like three naughty children
Hat pulled down over my head.
Shocking pink

Sunglasses, to block receding memories
of the celebrations last night.
So quiet in anticipation, the sea waits
to pounce upon those that venture
Too close

I point out a fisherman feeding the sky.
Gulls bouncing off clouds and sliding down sun rays
Three heads wince amidst the orchestra,
as passers-by lean into the wind.
So loud

The wind pushing, shoving, slicing, hissing.
Tearing along the boulevard like a child mid tantrum.
Knocking over bins and stealing a dogs frisbee
We scream our delight to the surfing white horses.
What fun

Heads clear now, cheeks pink, matching my hat
Frozen fingers and sparkling eyes and so much more
than that.

Just wanted to pop in and say hello and let you know what this page is all about so I am doing a Live in here tomorrow at 10am to do exactly that.
However I thought I would post one of my poems in here today. I don't profess that my poetry is the best in the world just that it is my take on the world in poetic form. (see post below)
