We appreciate that some folks like a dry January. We applaud your dedication and perseverance. However, we prefer to simply slow down a bit and take it easy. If you are of the same mind, we have a low alcohol gin offer. Mooze Gin has all of the botanicals, with less than a third of the alcohol units and calories of regular gin. It’s also less than half the regular price at only £12.50 a bottle. Should you prefer to try it for free, just add it your case of 12 pot-luck wines at £80 and we’ll add a bottle of Mooze at no extra cost!

For lovers of full strength gin, we still have a few bottles Essex Citrus (40%) from Chelmsford, and Listoke small batch Irish gin (43%), our favourite, from the Boyne Valley in Co Louth. These are £33 singly, or £29 if ordered with any wine case.

Thank you to all of the customers who have supported our business and our pop-up shop. And a big thank you to Adrian at H. Lowe & Co who allowed us to use his fantastic showroom for the shop.

Our Christmas pop-up wine shop is going to be open this week. We have a temporary event notice giving us licence to sell alcohol in the showroom at Lowe’s yard.

Please drop in and select which wines you’d choose for your Christmas gatherings and maybe last minute presents. We also have a few bottles of Gin, Cognac, Port and even a few beers.

Please let us know if you’d like any of these special products either for your Christmas gatherings or for presents. Should you want three products in a wrapped hamper, this can be arranged for an additional £6.

For many, it wouldn't be Christmas Day without a bottle of Champagne to start proceedings.
We have our Louis Roederer Collection bottle at £50 for a single bottle delivered, or £45 when you mix three or more bottles.
For larger gatherings, we have a magnum (1.5l) of Castellane Champagne at £60 or £55 in a mix.

If fizz is not your aperitif of choice, you may want to try one of our Gins:
Essex Citrus Dry Gin (40%) is distilled in Chelmsford and has a zesty hint of lemon and grapefruit. £33 for a lone bottle, £30 in a multi delivery.
Listoke small batch Irish Gin is a personal favourite. (43%) Distilled in rural County Louth, it is best served with a twist of orange and Mediterranean tonic. £34 for one or £31 in a mix.

To accompany your cheese platter, we have two Ports:
Graham's 'The Tawny' 10 year old Port is £22 or £20 in a three or more mix.
Niepoort 1997is a 26 year old Port, a deliciously smooth drop at £50 or £45 if ordered with two or more others.

To finish proceedings before your post lunch nap, we have a gorgeously smooth Fine Champagne Cognac, Hine's Rare blend of at least twenty aux de vie aged between six and twelve years. £50 or £45 as one of three.

Finally, we know that for some, only a beer will do. we have a 9 pint keg of Bishop Nick's Martyr. An American IPA. (5%). £21 or £19 with any other two.
