Back in October I had the opportunity to create some floral sculptures for the inaugural and its first ever time in Sydney - the stages were set with native floral tapestries, contrived to reflect the DIVERSE Australian landscape.
Sustainably produced, local australian blooms, was used - 60 x cable ties between 5 x sculptures!

Im not very good at showing my face...Mainly, I want my work to speak in volumes i can't bring myself to speak. I won't do videos talking about my process...it's just not me...
BUT a little reminder that this small creative space has a face...a beating heart and a vision. I love creating, its my power, my breathing space and my passion.
2024 is a time for change in my creative practice...please follow along if you feel it. I'm walking into more sustainable practices, acute details and more emotive responses to the brief.

Sustainably sourced, local flowers and plants, no flower foam ♡
Shelf it
A tapestry of native Australian blooms in colourful blocked textures. This concept derived from a desire to express Australian flowers in a modern, sculptural manner. The idea to showcase Australian flora during festival was very strong to me ♡
Thank you Tom, for allowing the creativity.
- no floral foam was used, water buckets only. All up 60 x cableties in the 5 x sculptures. Hope to reduce cable tie use in 2024.
