Epilepsy is a neurological condition that affects children, and can have effects that may manifest through adulthood. Early diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy has extremely promising outcomes, and hence, it is important that the disease be identified earlier in the spectrum. The symptoms of the disease can provoke a sense of fear, among parents, and hence, it is imperative that, we educate the masses regarding the same, and break the fear stigma.
Insomnia, is the most common sleeping disorder. Down syndrome varies in severity among individuals, causing lifelong intellectual disability and developmental delays among other complications. It's the most common genetic chromosomal disorder and cause of learning disabilities in children.
We can significantly improve the quality of life of an individual with Down syndrome by meeting their healthcare needs including regular check-ups and to provide timely intervention be it physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, counselling or special education.
Individuals with Down syndrome can achieve a better lifestyle through parental care and support, medical guidance, and community based support systems such as inclusive education at all levels which allows them a place in society to find their own potential.
Together we can empower people around the world to advocate for full ‘Inclusion’ in society for people with Down syndrome and disabilities, and ultimately, everyone.

Women are known to create and cultivate lives, a beautiful process of nature which deems them as powerful creatures, but society often mistakes that as their only purpose.
Women’s potential is often under-valued and under paid. Women should not be labelled as dependent or needy, in fact we should create an environment that allows them to thrive without feeling unsafe and be skilful, self-sufficient and independent.
March 8 is celebrated as ‘International Women’s day’. On this day we celebrate the women in our lives and their value in our society.
Women have had to prove time after time, of their capabilities and; fight for their rights, value and safety till date.
This women’s day, let’s pledge to fight against unjust behaviour towards women and to make our society a better and safe place for them.
National Eating Disorders Awareness Week provides an opportunity to draw attention to one of the most serious mental health conditions impacting the lives today. Despite the fact that eating disorders have among the highest mortality rate of any mental illness, the shame and stigmatization of eating disorders often prevent people who are suffering from seeking help.
That is why it is important to make more people aware that with early detection and medical intervention, full recovery from an eating disorder is possible.
To all those families who have watched a loved one face an eating disorder and to all those who are currently facing or recovering from an eating disorder — you are in our hearts and you are not alone.

Leprosy is often overlooked because of its low incidence, but the social discrimination associated to it still stands due to the lack of awareness in the society.
People who suffer from leprosy often face discrimination and isolation due to the stigma associated with the infection.
