Long time no see. I hope everyone is doing well. My husband Colton and I have been experiencing a lot of life in the last 7 months including moving into our new home and finding out we are expecting our first little one the beginning of April!

Holiday Order Opportunity:

I have many 1/2 gallon, pint, and some quart mason jars available for use, so I'm thinking about using them for hot chocolate orders. I won't be doing holiday candy orders this year but hot chocolate I can handle! If you'd be interested in some hot chocolate this fall/winter season, comment below or send me a private message!

Afternoon everyone!

I hope you all are doing well. I have an announcement to make.

As of today I have made the decision that I will be taking a break from baking orders indefinitely. Thank you to all who have ordered some kind of sweet from Smashing Cakes, and those who have been my biggest supporters! It has been such a fun year and a half of venturing into a newer hobby of mine.

I am feeling in this new/current season in my life that I am wanting to be able to spend more time with my husband and family, allow myself some "self-care" time, and also continue to grow my Private Music Studio as I pour into young students' lives. This is what I feel called to - investing in young musicians(and young at heart)/my primary profession. I have attached a picture of my contact information in case you or someone you know would be interested in voice or piano lessons! Please feel free to share.

If you have already made an order with me, I will be seeing it through.

Ya’ll.... Look how cute these ribbons are!!! Don’t forget to get those Easter Cookie kit orders in!

All right! You all voted, so here it is! 🍪 Smashing Cakes will be doing an Easter Special of Mason Jar Cookie kits. We will be doing pint size kits which will be $5.00 each and will make 12 cookies. The second option will be the 1/2 gallon size kit which will be $15.00 and makes 48 cookies. 😋 (1/2 gallon would be perfect for me because my husband and I basically inhale cookies) these are a perfect option when you would love warm, HOMEMADE, cookies without having to figure out all of the ingredients. Store cookies ain’t got nothing on these. 😉
All Easter orders are due by Thursday, April 1st, and must be picked up by sometime on Saturday, April 3rd. Supplies is limited so get your orders in while you can!!!

It’s never too early to get prepared for Valentine’s Day! Read below to see the specials happening at Smashing Cakes for the first half of February, and get your orders in!!!

The first 5 pictures you see are the mini cakes that Smashing Cakes will be offering February 1st - February 15th. These special cakes are dainty and perfect for a romantic evening or a Galentine’s evening. They are slightly smaller than smash cakes and will be $10.00 per cake. The first picture is chocolate cake with a chocolate/cherry buttercream filling and decoration on top. 2nd - strawberry cake covered with strawberry buttercream/chocolate ganache and strawberry on top. 3rd - red velvet with cream cheese icing. 4th - vanilla ombré with vanilla buttercream and chocolate heart. 5th - chocolate cake with raspberry buttercream and raspberry on top.
All naked except for strawberry! No substitutions!

We will also be selling chocolate covered strawberries for $15 a dozen. Now those are beyond perfect for a romantic evening. 😊

I have 5 cake pops left going at $1.50 each, and a baker’s dozen of chocolate covered Oreos for $12. First come first serve and delivery will not be an option for these. You can pick up at my house this evening or my parents house in NW OKC tomorrow noon-5:30! These could make a great last minute Christmas goodie! Merry Christmas Eve!

It’s been a busy weekend for smashing cakes so far! I had some extra help yesterday in order to get orders finished and I am so thankful! I have lots of leftover homemade peppermint patties so if you’re interested let me know! 🎄
