Guys, I tried my hardest but it didn't fu***ng work. So I'm having an issue with audio. To get this working, I need my camera and my microphone to be connected to the messenger rooms so I can communicate with the guests. But then at that point I can't get the audio from my messenger rooms to go on to the stream, so anyone watching isn't hearing any audio, only the guests. If I reversed course, I could make my audio come out of the stream but then the guess wouldn't be able to hear me. So I'm in a tough spot. If you understand computers or stream labs, please hit me up and help me fix this issue. It will be greatly appreciated. Until then, I am begrudgingly putting this project on the back burner until I figure out a workaround for this.

I'm going to go live between 4:00 and 5:00 in the room will be active. I am going to begin streaming before 5:00 as well so we will already be on. Similar to the way that a pay-per-view will have preliminary fights, or similar to the way that you are able to show up at a town hall and sit down for about a half an hour before it starts.

UPDATE CONCERNING THE SHOW TONIGHT:

It's not happening, but it is happening tomorrow.

I've been battling this for a few days now. But this is how it goes. Jamie is getting back from Florida tonight, and she's going to Cape cod tomorrow. I'm going to do it on Saturday night because I'm here by myself. I have a small window to spend time with Jamie and I'm going to do it and then I'm going to do this on Saturday because it allows me to give the show my full focus. Tomorrow night at 5:00. Maybe even earlier. Same show. Group call. Public forum. But it's going to happen on saturday.

Okay, so here are some of the details on what I have in mind.

As an experiment, for one night only, I am going to run what I can only describe as a virtual Town Hall discussion where anyone can participate or just listen.

What I'm going to do is I'm going to run one of those Facebook rooms live and I'm going to share the link publicly so anyone can join. And, at least at first, I am going to said it where literally anyone can join without approval. So literally anything can happen. I could get stormed by trolls or strangers that I don't know, literally anything could happen. But most importantly, you can join the conversation! And that's the main reason that I'm doing it.

Now, I'm also going to take this conversation and I'm going to stream it. So if you don't want to join the room but you're still curious as to what we're talking about then you're able to listen and just chat. But if you feel a certain kind of way and you want to join the conversation then you're going to have access to the link as well and you'll be able to join right in and add your two cents to the conversation. That's why I'm considering this in many ways some type of a virtual Town Hall type situation. We're going to see how it happens. I'm going to be some different people direct invitations while I'm live, maybe you'll get one. But everyone is invited.

It's going to be absolute chaos, but it really has the potential to be a blast. So whether you just want to watch the chaos unfold, or you're excited to join into the conversation, when we all go live this Friday at 5:00.

This time, we do it

Quick update on the future of the channel.

So as you know, there's a major shift coming. I'm going to be moving the entire channel over to dlive.tv

Unfortunately, I'm just not ready yet. I gave myself an ambitious start date of 1 week off to be able to learn how to incorporate my software to work with a platform that it was not natively designed to work with, and I was a little too aggressively optimistic.

So what I'm going to do now as I'm going to be fair to myself.

So today, I would like to announce that the official relaunch date and premiere of season 2 of live at 5:00 from the bottom of the rabbit hole will be on Friday April 9th at 5:00 p.m. Eastern standard time.

This hopefully will give me enough time to learn how to incorporate the new platform into the software and I can integrate all of the features. Hopefully as well, I'll even be able to manipulate the aesthetic a little bit and change some of the words that are on the screen.

If I was a bit better with programming and this type of thing, I may be able to get it done in a week. But unfortunately, I have to learn how something works, and then learn how to do something, and then actually do that thing. And instead of continuously pushing off the launch week by week, I would rather set a date for myself roughly one month out and give myself enough time to do it properly.

I'm also looking at creating a new YouTube channel, and the purpose of that channel will be to upload videos. Most likely clips or highlights from the d live show. Maybe segments if you will. This may come by April 9th, it may not. But it is on the docket.

I want to try to expand this thing, but I want to do it right. Let me tell you a quick story.

When I started doing this, I initially hit the live button because I had some things I wanted to say and get off my chest but not actually post about them. The show was created because I needed to create a page to incorporate the software that I use to be able to stream the way I want on facebook, being able to play videos and show web pages. doing the show was something that I wanted to do, but I wanted to learn how to do it right before I started. I didn't do that, I kind of just jumped into it and I've been learning week by week on the fly. I never really got it to the point I wanted to be at to launch, but I was already in the pool simply staying the float week by week.

I'm now finally taking that last bit of time to make the changes that I need to make and learn the things that I need to learn to be able to make this thing happen the way I originally envisioned it. And I'm doing it on a new platform adding some extra hurdles in the way.

I'm very thankful that the first run of the show was as successful as it was. I appreciate everyone who ever watched, wrote a comment, liked or shared, or participated in the experience in any way.

It is on behalf of that sentiment that I want season 2 to be even better, and I want to make sure that we are going to surpass the success of anything that has been done so far.

I'm not doing this for money, Lord knows I would have stopped by now if that was the case(lol). I'm doing this to make a difference. I'm doing this to leave a legacy. I'm doing this because I have things I want to say and I don't want anyone to be able to stop me from saying it.

I promise I will not be censored, I will not be silenced. I will not cower into submission. I will continue to say the truth and I will continue to say what needs to be said, regardless of who does or does not want to hear it.

Hopefully by then I'll have a countdown clock, and things will be even smoother and cleaner.

I've just made a decision regarding the future of the show...

I've been contemplating whether or not I'm going to continue to do it. Censorship, removal of my YouTube channel, bands from streaming on facebook, and increase tensions have all been leading me to make this decision.

I am moving the show to its new permanent home, which will be dlive!

as I get my software set up to be fully compatible with the platform, more information will follow.

But this is good news, as dlive is a place where I will have freedom to talk about whatever I want to talk about election fraud, vaccines, coronavirus, and anything else that would get censored elsewhere.
