Taking orders for raw goats milk for pick up at Chestertown Farmers' Market this Saturday!

At Chestertown Farmers' Market and have eggs and 3 extra half gallons of raw goat milk available! We finally got our raw milk permit for Maryland!

We will be starting at Historic Lewes Farmers Market tomorrow. We will have goat milk soaps, lotions, honey and plants

We will be at Chestertown Farmers' Market this Saturday 8-12 and will be bringing a few babies this weekend to promote National Dairy Goat Awareness week, so stop by market and see the babies and pick up your eggs, soaps , lotions, plants and honey for your needs!

Dairy Goat Awareness Week was “proclaimed” in 1987 by former President Ronald Reagan, a member of the American Dairy Goat Association, himself a breeder of dairy goats and a lifetime ADGA member.

We can all be grateful for the significant contributions to our economy made by farmers and others who raise dairy goats and market dairy goat products. American farmers currently raise roughly 250,000 of these hardy animals, which can thrive even in harsh areas and have a long association with our country. Columbus and Cook and other famed explorers carried dairy goats aboard their ships for milk and meat, and pioneers and settlers transported them to every part of our land.
Dairy goat products are increasingly popular as items for export and for domestic use. The number of producers of goat cheese, or Chevre, is rising. An extraordinary variety of American-made goat cheeses is available, as are goat milk, ice cream, and yogurt.
In recognition of the value of dairy goats, the Congress, by House Joint Resolution 17, has designated the period beginning the second Saturday and ending the third Saturday of June 1987 as ``National Dairy Goat Awareness Week'' and authorized and requested the President to issue a proclamation in its observance.
Now, Therefore, I, Ronald Reagan, President of the United States of America, do hereby proclaim the period beginning the second Saturday and ending the third Saturday of June 1987 as National Dairy Goat Awareness Week. I call upon the people of the United States to observe this week with appropriate programs, ceremonies, and activities.

Some pictures from our last goat yoga class of the season

We will not be at farmers market this Saturday as we are attending Chestertown Tea Party Festival instead and we are all stocked up on soaps and lotions and will have air plants mounted and succulent hanging baskets there but if you need eggs please let me know because otherwise we will leave eggs home

Last weekend at Maryland Sheep and Wool, Far Crick Farm and I donated a yearling ewe to the Hall twins of Massey, MD in the youth conservation program to help with heritage breeds.

We will be at Chestertown Farmers' Market this weekend with tons of eggs! Plus we will have our soaps and lotions and we have some herb plants for your kitchen, basil, oregano, and more! Also some succulents and perennials

We finally started kidding season today with a single buck kid sired by Loughlins Leroy Brown out of Unspoken Rule's Mayhem! He is a single weighing in at a hoping 15.68 #.

We will be at Chestertown Farmers' Market tomorrow 8-12 and are stocked up on almost all our soaps and have about 15 dozen eggs ready for tomorrow! Will have tons of beautiful plants!

So starting a new year we decided to bite the bullet and create an online store on our website, it is up but stock is limited and we will be updating it shortly with our lotions and more! Pictures of the soaps will be uploaded as soon as time allows. The goat, sheep and rabbit pages are still under construction but it is up!

We will Not be at Chestertown Farmers' Market this Saturday 12/30. We are taking the weekend off. We will be back to market starting next weekend 1/6

We will be at Chestertown Farmers' Market this Saturday 8-12 stop by & pick up last minute soaps & lotions! Will have more center pieces & fresh floral arrangements and have tons of eggs! If you haven't noticed we are now on the corner near the crosswalk! We also are able to do e-gift cards!

We will be at Chestertown Farmers' Market tomorrow 8-12 and will also be doing a Dickens Christmas tomorrow 10-1 so we will have some baby goats and rabbits tomorrow with us so stop by and visit. We will have plenty of handmade wreaths and swags and ribbons. Plenty of eggs this week!
