Step one: Become aware of your self-talk.

Step two: Realize when it’s your authentic self-talk versus the labels, phrases and beliefs you let others install.

Step 3: Begin programming new self-talk via meditations, tapping, affirmations, and vocal proclamations (reading inspiring passages and speaking encouraging words out loud).

Step 4: Surround yourself with smart, optimistic, compassionate and conscientious people who want you to have a good life.

Step 5: Dont let yourself get pulled into drama. People on a path of purpose ain’t got no time for drama!

Your coach,
Brendon.

To Those Who Struggle This Christmas 04/12/2020

To Those Who Struggle This Christmas I’m not writing this to everyone. I’m writing this to you—the person whose heart is heavy today, the one for whom this day is not merry and bright, the one who doesn’t feel at all like singing. I’m writing this to you who face subtraction today; who feel the combined attrition of the all l...

Are you thriving or just surviving? The COVID pandemic has created a concurrent crisis around mental health. We all need to be taking care of each other, but that includes ourselves.

We’ve all experienced a wide range of “struggling” emotions this year - green one day and orange the next, right?? One day things seem ok, the next day circumstances change for your family with a positive test or need to quarantine. All this on top of the day to day grind, normal responsibilities of work and family, and other hardships.

While it’s normal to experience any of these symptoms below, we certainly don’t want to stay in those orange and red zones very long. If you find yourself struggling or in crisis, look for tools here in the comments, or focus on other things you’ve found to be effective for you. It’s ok to ask for help. It also helps to talk about what is going on with someone you trust. Paying attention to where you are emotionally and mentally, allows you to be proactive with personal interventions, and on a pathway to “stay green”.

This page has been a work in progress, but there is no better time to bring it live than now!

The goal of this page is to provide a place for support and resources, to inspire a positive mindset, and foster an environment of learning, where staff can interact and support one another.

While we’ve felt some impacts from living in a global pandemic for many months, we are certainly experiencing more difficult dynamics in our area recently. We’ve all been impacted in some way.

The only way through this is together. We are one team. Now, more than ever, your commitment to one another matters. The care we provide to kids and families during these difficult times is essential.

Thank you for being an important part of the St. Joseph’s team. We hope this page will serve as a supportive tool to help us all check in and recalibrate every day.

Invite other St. Joseph’s staff members to like and follow this page.✌🏻

The very week the pandemic broke in the U.S., I started seeing messages online about seizing this opportunity and finishing quarantine with something to show for it. On the one hand, I get it. It feels good to give a bit of purpose to this bewildering time. But on the other hand... Read more here ↠↠ https://ericalayne.co/silver-linings-of-covid-19/
