This is a late post due to the fact that New york comic con was the culmination of weeks of work and fine tuning and I have been absolutely exhausted in the few days since (and have been able to spend it wandering around this gorgeous city)

I have to thank each and every one of you who stopped my booth and picked up a print or sticker and who continue to support this small indie artist.

I keep getting a lot of positive feedback with my original designs and I’m going to take some time figuring out what direction the next original pieces are to go in. Currently touring a ton of art galleries (my annual art pilgrimage post nycc) and becoming more and more inspired to try new visual approaches to these concepts I’ve slowly pushed out.

I recently celebrated the first year of a relationship with my partner and I really wanted to take the feeling of content I have with them and channel it into a series that shows different couples who fall along the lines of the lgbtq spectrum choosing to grow together. I used different flowers too, each symbolizing different aspects of human sexuality

This redone version seems to be the favorite of three new plant heads I’ve dropped, but which one is your fave?

Reworked this one too! Much happier with the colors now.

Toyed with a new way to present this surrealist motivational plant head series, because the more I looked at it the more the modified stock text and border just wasn’t working out. Finally delving into actually drawing the lettering (something I never do) and I’ll be revealing the other two tomorrow!

Do you like this new plant series? Trying to gauge interest as I have another offshoot with the plant surrealism aesthetic I want to experiment with before this month before getting back to fan art!

As for all the art I do I have a SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: I’m lowering all my 12 x 16 pieces on the site from $40 to $30 a piece, and readjusting shipping as well, to make things more accurate to how I sell em in person and more affordable!

VASH THE STAMPEDE (OG) on the site now! As I experiment with more in the figure text, I’m down for any and all feedback ya got. I feel like this is a step up from what I did with she hulk but I’m more than down making even more changes. Not sure how this is gonna hit with you but let me know!

Also go watch Trigun Stampede cuz it’s actually a really great series reboot of my fave anime of all time and it’s only 2 episodes in!

As a major fan of Trigun, I’m extremely excited to see the reboot and decided to make a piece coinciding with the release of the new series!

Currently the Black and white phase is completed and I’m On to color!

She-hulk is finished! How do we feel about this method for including the quote in the figure and not the face ?

Personally, I’m having a lot of fun with making the text more graffiti like using mesh envelopes to transform the otherwise stiff San serif Bebas Neu Font!

Also I Apologize for the delay but a) I got sick last week and b) it’s been like a year since I drew faces so I had a lot to brush up on (and yes I’m aware that’s a terrible art pun).

Lots of stuff to announce!

First off, this week marks 4 years that I’ve been alcohol free! I wasn’t a chronic functioning alcoholic but one day I just decided that my life needed a boost and beer needed the boot. I said I would start out with 30 days and keep going if it didn’t bother me. And 4 years later it hasn’t! I know your situation may not be the same, but all it takes is will and determination, and the want to see what life without alcohol is like.

Second up: this year is crazy y’all. My to do list is miles long still and I’ll soon disclose which pieces I’m thinking about doing, but I’m setting the bar pretty high for myself. Since October I’ve already done over half the pieces I made last year and though I’m still stumbling a lil on efficiency I’m currently sitting at a mental space where I’m able to complete pieces faster than I used to, and if it’s progress, that’s all that matters! I know I had a lot of people ask about new pieces and I’m trying to hit the 24 diff cons and markets I have planned out with tons of new work (and many of it retaining my style but moving away from the more trypophobia inducing text in face pieces), in addition to the originals which a small but growing segment of y’all seem to like.

3rd! Last year was a pretty great year for me musically. My music project .era released 5 songs in between me doing all these cons, and tho the numbers they did aren’t astronomical, I really do appreciate that this many people spent any of their time listening to things I wrote, co-wrote, co produced or remixed. So if that’s you, thank you. And a thank you goes out to and for allowing me to work with them on collabs or remix their (or in one case our) work!
