We regret to inform our followers and supporters that due to the recent flood in Houston TX and our storagefacility flooding, the date for the Las Vegas Vegan Soul Food Fest has been postponed.These unforeseen circumstances out of our control, destroyed a significant amount of our production equipment used in order to make this production a success.
We pride ourselves on the past 12 years of operating our brand(s)with the utmost integrity and proper business ethics, in which we will continue to uphold that standard. No worries to all of our currect ticket holders. All purchased tickets are transferable to the new scheduled date which will be posted via our social media and website. Recipe:
3 tbsp gram flour
1 tbsp or ground nutritional yeast
1/2 tsp pink salt
250ml coconut milk
3 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp pure vanilla powder
1 tsp cinnamon
Grate of nutmeg
(Add a little water if necessary if too thick)
Multi-seeded wholewheat loaf [🎶 - Just Fine]

Ingredients
For the French Toast:
2 bananas
250ml (8.5fl.oz) oat milk
2 tbsp ground flaxseed
2 tbsp caster sugar
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
5 thick slices of white bread
Coconut oil for frying
For the toppings:
200g (7oz) mixed frozen berries
2 tsp caster sugar
vegan yoghurt (optional)
maple syrup (optional)
The cupboard essentials:

Method
1.Peel the bananas and add them to a mixing bowl. Mash with a fork until smooth and runny.
2.Add the remaining French toast ingredients to the bowl (apart from the bread) along with a pinch of salt, and whisk until fully combined, then set to one side for a few minutes.
3.Meanwhile add a generous tbsp of coconut oil to a frying pan on a medium heat. Once the pan is hot, dunk a slice of bread into the runny banana mixture so it’s fully submerged and completely coated, then carefully add the slice to the frying pan. Fry each slice for 2-3 minutes on each side until crispy. Repeat with the remaining slices of bread, adding more coconut oil as needed (the bread might stick to the pan if you don’t add more oil).
4.Meanwhile, add the frozen berries and 2 tsp of caster sugar to a saucepan on a medium heat and cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally until the berries have thawed and the sugar has dissolved.
5.To serve, stack the slices of french toast on one sharing plate or split between two plates. Then top with the berries, spoon a tablespoon (or two) of vegan yoghurt on top and finally drizzle with maple syrup. And tuck in!

Naught but nice 🤷🏻♀️ Vegan Doughnuts from 🍩🍩🍩
Makes 12
INGREDIENTS:
50 grams vegan margarine
120 millilitres soy milk
2 tablespoons sunflower oil, plus 1 litre extra for frying
250 grams plain flour
100 grams caster sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
PREPARATION:
1. Gently melt the butter over a low-medium heat. Add milk and 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil and mix together. Once combined, take off the heat and set aside.
2. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, 50g of the sugar, baking powder and salt with a fork. Make a well in the centre and pour in the butter mixture. Combine gradually until a thick dough forms.
3. Using your hands, roll dough into little flat balls and with your thumb, press a hole in the centre of each doughnut. (You may need to flour your hands for this part to avoid getting sticky!) 4. Heat up the litre of oil in a pan. To know when it's hot enough, fry a little bit of bread in the oil. If it goes brown and floats to the top, in 45-50 seconds the oil will be ready! Gently lay the doughnuts into the oil using a spatula. Fry for about 3-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
5. Transfer the doughnuts onto some tissue paper to soak up any excess oil. Then roll into a bowl of the remaining 50g sugar.
6. Enjoy!

PEANUT BUTTER OAT BARS
1/2 cup oat flour
4 tbsp peanut butter
2 tbsp maple syrup
50g dark vegan chocolate for melting
HOW
1. Combine ingredients in a bowl to form a dough
2. Form into a rectangle -> place in freezer while melting🍫
3. Drizzle chocolate over the dough -> refrigerate until 🍫 is set
4. Cut into 4 or more bars, store in a container in your fridge or freezer!

Adorable kids. Eating massive amounts of salad. Gets me every time.
I’m on call, currently at the hospital. Dad just sent me this video of an impromptu morning snack. This was their second bowl 😂
We’ve learned that, for whatever reason, if we make a big salad for ourselves in a stainless steel bowl, the kids steal it and eat the whole thing 🤷🏻♀️
There’s definitely something about kids wanting whatever you’re eating (hint, hint...modeling is super important!) but this particular example is just hilarious. And the bowl seems to matter 🤷🏻♀️ Hey, when they’re eating massive amounts of veggies, just go with it!

Ingredients:
2 cups blueberries, divided, plus more for serving
2 cups old-fashioned oats
½ cup pecans, roughly chopped
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
2 cups almondmilk
¼ cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons flaxseed
1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Grease a 9 x 9 inch baking dish. Place 1 1/2 cup of the blueberries at the bottom of the baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, combine the oats, pecans, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. Transfer on top of the blueberries.
3. In a small mixing bowl, combine the almondmilk, maple syrup, flaxseed, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract. Pour over the oat mixture and gently press down to make sure all the oats are covered with milk. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup blueberries on top.
4. Bake uncovered in the preheated oven until the top of the oatmeal is golden and the mixture is set, about 35-40 minutes. Remove and allow it to cool for 5 minutes

Recipe
1 medium-sized cauliflower head
2 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp sea salt
Miso-Tahini Sauce:
3 Tbsp tahini
1 tsp brown rice miso
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp date syrup
5-6 Tbsp water (depending to desired consistency)
Method
1.Wash your cauliflower and trim the leaves so that it stands straight.
2.Fill a large pot with water (until ¾ full) and bring to boil. Once boiling, carefully add in the whole cauliflower head. Boil for 10-12 minutes (depending on the size of your cauliflower) and drain when done.
3.Preheat your oven to 200°C/390°F and line a baking sheet with paper.
4.Place your cauliflower on the sheet and gently massage the olive oil into the head. Sprinkle some salt on top and bake in the oven for 7 minutes.
5.In the meantime prepare your miso sauce by mixing all ingredients together. Take the cauliflower out of the oven and gently brush the sauce on top and the sides. Place back into the oven and bake for another 7-10 minutes until golden brown on top.
