Gurunanak NCC ARMY WING organized a significant workshop to commemorate the 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧 𝗗𝗥𝗨𝗚 𝗔𝗕𝗨𝗦𝗘 & 𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗧 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 . This initiative was undertaken in collaboration with GNC NSS , the Anti-Drug Committee and DR. Nafisa jeddy ( student councellor) of Gurunanak College.

The primary objective of the workshop was to raise awareness among youngsters about the detrimental effects of drug addiction.

Through interactive discussions with our resource person 𝐌𝐑. 𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐒𝐇 ( 𝐃𝐄-𝐀𝐃𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐎𝐑, 𝐓𝐓𝐊 𝐇𝐎𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐋), attendees gained valuable knowledge on recognizing the early signs of addiction, understanding its psychological and social impacts, and learning about available support systems for rehabilitation and recovery.

With Subedar Major Ganesan of 1(TN) BTY NCC as our honored chief guest ,Cadets had a valuable yoga session led by instructors from 𝗪𝗖𝗦𝗖, 𝗦𝗞𝗬 𝗬𝗢𝗚𝗔 𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗘, enriching the event with knowledge and practice."

As an unwavering dedication to excellence, Guru Nanak College NCC Army Wing 1TN (BTY) orchestrated the grand spectacle that was the 3rd edition of CADO GURU, held with great pomp and fervor on February 29th and March 1st, 2024.

The event commenced with the dignified presence of our esteemed Chief Guest, Commanding Officer of 1TN (Bty)NCC, Lt. Col. Rakesh C Barthwal Sena Medal, whose inspiring words set the stage for an electrifying atmosphere of competition and camaraderie.

Over 800 cadets from 20+ institutions participated under various banners, igniting a spirit of competition.

Banners included the drill banner, maurya banner, Yodha banner & culturals banner showcasing their diverse talents.

As the event concluded, we were honored to have Dr. Manjit Singh Nayir, our esteemed General Secretary and Correspondent, deliver the closing remarks.

We also felicitated the achievements of Cadet Lakshya, who participated in the Republic Day Camp 2024, and Cadet Syed Arif, who participated at the AITSC 2023, leaving a lasting impact with their dedication and excellence.

Heartfelt gratitude extends to all participants, whose unwavering engagement and spirited contributions enriched the fabric of this event, making it a resounding success and a testament to the spirit of unity and excellence."

In a remarkable display of our dedication and perseverance, we the cadets of Guru Nanak NCC Army Wing participated in the South Zone Inter Collegiate Guard of Honour Competition "𝗩𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗶 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰" organized by the Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University , took place on 6th January 2024.

Our cadets driven by their indomitable spirit and relentless hard work, showcased exceptional skills and teamwork throughout the competition which led them to secure the first place in the inter collegiate south zone Guard of Honour competition with a prize amount of 10,000 RS and individual medals

The cadets of GURUNANAK NCC ARMY WING proudly orchestrated an event titled "OXY-FLUTTER" as part of JEEVA SPARSAM BANNER at Kathipara Urban Square, Guindy.

Our cadets delivered an enlightening speech on purification of oxygen Additionally, we distributed saplings that not only purify oxygen but also to contribute in butterfly conservation, emphasizing the importance and vital relationship between plants and butterflies in the ecosystem.

The event featured an interactive session highlighting the significance of oxygen and methods for obtaining pure oxygen, coupled with the distribution of saplings to promote the conservation of butterfly species and also to generate fresh oxygen among attendees.

We, the cadets of GURUNANAK NCC ARMY WING, proudly organized the 'PRESERVING THE PAST ON OUR PLATES' event, Under JEEVA SPARSAM, at the 75th Independence Day Park in Thiruvanmayur.

Our cadets hosted an engaging session to raise awareness about the medicinal values embedded in the authentic food varieties of Tamil culture. Attendees had the opportunity to savor traditional dishes meticulously prepared by our cadets, accompanied by enlightening explanations of their medicinal benefits.

As a part of our initiative to revive forgotten culinary treasures, we distributed recipe pamphlets, fostering an appreciation for the rich and diverse food heritage of Tamil culture. This event stands as a testament to our commitment to preserving the invaluable traditions of our past."

We the cadets of GURU NANAK NCC Army wing organised an event on "𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 - 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀" under the banner of 𝗝𝗲𝗲𝘃𝗮 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗺 at 75th Independence day Park, Thiruvanmiyur.

Our cadets gave an awareness speech on 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗱𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗱𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀. Also they had an interactive session along with a oral performance - art to the people on what mental stress is and how to overcome the stress related problems with sparked light of confidence among the people.

Event : 𝟱𝟬𝗺 𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗲 ( 𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗙 ) 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗷𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺

We the cadets of Guru Nanak NCC Army wing organised an event on 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗻𝗮𝗽𝗸𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲. Our cadets gave an awareness on proper disposal of sanitary napkins and the causes of disposing napkins on natural resources among the women in Shantivanam, a unit of udhavum karangal. Also we have 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗻𝗮𝗽𝗸𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 in their orphanage home in order to bring the significance of disposing napkins.

On 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗱𝗮𝘆, we the cadets of Guru Nanak NCC Army wing organised an event on 𝗔 𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗗 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗗. Our cadets and Dr. Ponraj ( organ donation organiser, RGGGH ) have gave an awareness on Significance of oragan donation, living donation, deceased donation and pediatric donation in presence of our ANO Lt. P.Rajan, Subedar Major Duraipandi & Subedar Sarabjit. Also our cadets ( 30 ) and people from the nearby area came forward to donate their organs in future on the significance of awareness on organ donation.

We the cadets of Guru Nanak NCC Army wing organised an event on Handle with care, plastic is everywhere !? along with 𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗡 𝗩𝗢𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗚𝗟𝗢𝗕𝗔𝗟 [ 𝗡𝗚𝗢 ].
Our cadets cleaned the plastics and other household things on the stagnant drainage water. Also gave an brief awareness on plastic pollution, effects of plastic pollution , sources of plastic pollution and effects of micro plastics in water to corporation workers and people in the residential area.

On the fest of 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧, we the cadets joined with the "𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘 𝗦𝗢𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗙𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗦𝗢𝗖𝗜𝗘𝗧𝗬 ( 𝗡𝗚𝗢 )" to make the womens to explore their ideas to start up business easier which can turn their life and as a stepping stop we gave valuable amount of pulses to their successful startup.
We gave them motivation and hope which are invaluable in nature.

Finally we happily celebrated 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗠𝗔𝗦 with the women’s and had their fulfilled wishes.

On 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗱𝗮𝘆 (𝟮𝟯 - 𝟭𝟮 - 𝟮𝟮), we the cadets of Guru Nanak NCC Army wing oraganised an event on 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻’𝘁 𝘄𝗲? Our cadets gave an brief awareness on soil, types of soil, soil erosion, causes of soil erosion, conservation of soil, afforestation and deforestation of forests. Also we have distributed 𝟳𝟭𝟱 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀 in order to bring awareness among people about the importance of soil conservation.

𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘁 !?

We the cadets of Guru Nanak NCC Army wing organised an event on 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗦 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 🌍. We have installed an soil compose unit in the botanical garden by adding dried leaves, cow dung, earthworms, egg shell, rotten fruits and vegetables. This supports the growth of bacteria and fungi. During this event our cadets explained the significance, advantages and firm objectives of soil compose unit to the visitors and workers of botanical garden.

We the cadets of Guru Nanak NCC Army wing organised an event on MENTAL AWARENESS ON AIDS. On this event occasion, Honourable *Tahsildar of Velachery Thaluk Mr.Rafique* has participated and that’s our pleasure for him to be our guest of honour.

Our cadet B. Muthukumaran have participated in Inter Director Sports Shooting Championship ( IDSSC - NCC ) 2022 and also won all over India 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗹 at 50 meter small bore free Rifle prone event.

𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘀. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 !
