On Good Ground, teaching “Kingdom Principles for Kingdom Living”
Established in October 2005, On Good Ground Christian Fellowship held its first public worship service on Sunday, August 6, 2006. Over the course of the first year, the Lord has prospered the church in ways great and small, and has endowed Pastor Jeff, First Lady Evelyn and the entire congregation with a vision of greater things to come.
One of the foundational principles of the church centers on its commitment to advancing the Kingdom of God in the earth. To this end, Minister Jeff and Sis. Evelyn stress the importance of becoming immersed in the Word of God and allowing the Word to transform the mind. The couple also believes that it is vital for God’s people to become doers of the Word if true and lasting change is to be realized.
A core belief of the ministry is the importance of serving others, as Minister Jeff and Sis Evelyn firmly believe that ministry brings the blessing. Since its existence, the church has reached outside of its four walls to bring Thanksgiving and Christmas to needy families in Burlington County. The Lord has also blessed the church to sow Bibles and Sunday School materials in Africa and the Philippines. Over the last three years the church was also able to open and serve the community with a food pantry. The church is excited in its belief that the Lord will continue to expand and enlarge such efforts in the coming years.
The church started and experienced continued growth of its newsletter, On Good Ground, which went on for nearly seven years. From a modest initial circulation of 25 copies to family and friends, the Lord has increased the circulation of the FREE monthly newsletter to over 400 readers across the United States and in several countries, including Germany, India, Romania, China, Japan, England, Nigeria, United Kingdom and Ghana. Currently the newsletter has ceased operation, but the church is hopeful to regain circulation soon.
