Which “I MISS NY” sweater has been your favorite so far?

The interlocking NY emblem used for the New York Yankees was inspired by a medal of valor to honor a fallen NY Policeman in 1877 created by Louis Tiffany of Tiffany & Co. I believe It was genius that the NY was added to a medal meant to honor courage in combat as it wasn’t only for the line of work but the city in which served; “If you can make it in New York, you can make it anywhere.”

When I started bearing this logo I found myself dodging questions by strangers on the train if I had watched last nights game or who my favorite player was. I didn’t know how to explain that it meant more than just the game but rather pride in the city I’m from.

While thinking of this collection I wanted to upgrade where I wore the logo naturally, on my head where my pride was to somewhere more intentionally; My heart on the left side. I decided to use Grandma sweaters because they embody the feeling of home.

Introducing the “I MISS NY” capsule collection; Hand beaded vintage sweaters and other items meant to merge the old with the new without completely compromising the integrity of the item. It was too easy to slap a Yankee patch so I wanted to challenge myself with something creative.

I’ve had this image in my mind for a long time to drop collections of reworked up-cycled vintage items made for special occasions or for the fashion guy/girlie. Each piece is meant to be unique and one of a kind just like what would come to mind when one thinks of Urban Couture. I hope you enjoy!

I’ve spent 5 days in deep ritual, tiring my mind with endless expressions of gratitude for what I’ve received. Alchemizing the changes around me.

In honor of my birthday I’d like to give those who are no longer familiar with who I am today the opportunity to unfollow me. I will feel freer knowing the eyes watching me on social media are ones who truly see me and appreciate my self expression. I’ve put in a tremendous amount of work unlearning who others taught me I was and aligned with who I want to be. If I make you uncomfortable remember it says more about you than me. Here’s to 30 and celebrating in good company 🌞

Gemini Season can often be a giant mirror; what is it reflecting back to you?

Been sitting under this tree with my feet in the ground while practicing meditation. Never did I expect spirit to direct me to be more active on social media. They said I need to balance my relationship between the spiritual and material worlds. I’ve disillusioned myself to believe that one held more importance over the other. I’m shedding the Hermit stage.

How much higher can you get than Flight Club? ⭐️ Grateful for my Friend and Brother, for his creative offering to remind me of the true work I do in spirit. This journey has filled me with the most humility and as I’ve outgrown value in material items, I welcome the energy behind them when charged with enough love and intention. These aren’t just sneakers but a trophy of why I walk the path I do.

Reminder that my practice isn’t set up for monetization and is an offering based clinic as the goal is to simply expand on your consciousness through love and knowledge of thy self 🖤
