Eyeshadow Do and Don’ts

1. Always use a primer

• Using a primer is the perfect foundation before applying makeup. It helps fill in the lines and make the skin look smoother. It also helps the eyeshadow last longer and make it look fresh all day long
• If you don’t use any primer, oils will mix in your skin and will be difficult to do blending.
*Use a beauty blender to blend your concealer in a bouncing motion.

2. Know your transition shades

• Never use a densely hard brush to apply an eyeshadow in your crease. Do not start off with a dark shadow, this will make it look very harsh.
• Do start with a transition shade that is on the same range of what you’re going with.
*You can use two or three eyeshadows in your palette to achieve that gradient look.

3. Add Dimension

• Matte eyeshadows with darker shade will help us achieve dimension. Use a small precision brush that is tapered on the end. Tap! Tap! Tap!
• Make sure to tap the excess too, as we don’t want to apply too much product on our skin.
• Slowly add the eyeshadow, don’t pack on all at once.

4. Use your Blending Brush Correctly

• Do not use densely packed and dome-shaped brush. Don’t hold the brush too close to handle as it will make it difficult for you to blend.
• Instead, hold the brush towards the back of the handle. Lightly glide it making an airbrush effect.

5. Highlighting

• Too much product and too much glittery is a No-no!
• Use a matte tone colour to create highlight and transition.

Bonus tip - The final finish

• Finish it up with some nice waterproof, smudge proof eyeliner.
• Don’t be afraid to experiment, follow your own style or ask for a professional’s viewpoint on how your makeup should look.
• At the very least, there is always something new you can learn or a bad habit you can change

OUR 5 TOP TIPS FOR USING CLEANSER

HOW TO APPLY CLEANSERS

STEP 1
Tie your hair back away from your face. Dampen your skin with lukewarm water.

STEP 2
Apply a coin-sized amount of your chosen cleanser, work between your hands and apply to face.

STEP 3
Massage into your skin, including your neck.

STEP 4
Rinse with lukewarm water, or remove with our Muslin Cloth.

STEP 5
Use a cotton pad to apply your chosen toner to dry, cleansed skin.

Hi peeps! Today i’m gonna share a few tips to choose your eyeshadow brushes 🥰
I would recommend only getting brushes as you need them, or as you add new things to your routine. If you spend a bunch of money on a big set to start with, it’s very likely that you’ll wind up using only a few brushes from it.

So let’s start!

* If you use powder or cream/gel to fill in your eyebrow, you’ll need an angled brush.
* Optionally, a spoolie can help to blend the product in with your brow hair.
* If you use gel eyeliner, you’ll need either an angled brush or a fine-tip liner brush.

If you use eyeshadow, you’ll need:
1. A basic “lay-down” eyeshadow brush to apply shadow all over your lid. A lay-down brush is flat, rounded, and dense so it can pick up and apply a lot of pigment.

2. A crease brush to put shadow into the crease of your eyelid. A crease brush has a pointed or rounded tip so it can fit into your crease.

3. A blending brush to blend out the edges of your eyeshadow and to blend between different colors. This brush is larger than a crease brush, fluffy, and rounded.
Or you can just get a crease brush and use it both for your crease and for blending – though it’s best to use a clean brush for blending.

Other optional eyeshadow brushes include:

1. A smudge brush to apply shadow on your lower lashline and to smudge out eyeliner. These brushes are small, short, and dense, with a rounded shape.

2. A detail brush/pencil brush for precise work like defining the “outer v” of your eye or smudging/blending out eyeshadow in small areas like the lashline. These brushes are small, soft, and dense, with a pointed or domed shape.

If you’re a beginner, don’t worry about these yet – the first three eyeshadow brushes I listed are enough to start out with. Good luck! 😘

Here’s some tips for applying eyeshadow to your eyes 😍

1. Apply Eyeshadow Primer
To start off with a fresh and clean base, the first thing you need to do is apply eyeshadow primer to your lids.

2. Apply A N**e Base
Using a fluffy blending eyeshadow brush, apply a n**e shadow that complements your skin tone and blend it in thoroughly.

3. Enhance the Crease
Apply a medium brown-toned eyeshadow to your crease using a fluffy blending brush. Add some color to your lower lash line and blend it out well, especially towards the outer corners.

Pro Tip: To contour your eyes at the crease, always use a darker shade of eyeshadow.

4. Add Some Colour
Apply a dark burgundy eyeshadow, focusing the color just on the outer corners. Gently extend it past your crease for a smokey effect. Use the same color on your lower lash line as well.

5. Create A Gradient
Apply the n**e eyeshadow that you used in the second step to your lids. Also, use the n**e shadow to blend out the edges of the burgundy eyeshadow for a softer effect.

6. Amp up your lashes
You can add a pair of falsies for a more glamorous effect.

Now, finish the rest of your makeup! Do your base, add some bronzer, highlighter, and a n**e lip color to complete the look.

3 Tips Penjagaan Kulit yang Betul.
