Patient came to do filling on lower right back tooth. Upon caries removal, noticed thin layer of dentin still over the pulp chamber. Disinfect with CHX for 2 minutes. CaOH placed and flowable covered ontop of it. Final restoration with composite filling Palfique LX5
Patient was happy with the outcome and no sign and symptoms so far.

This is an interesting case for me.
Patient came with complaint of "hole" in between teeth.
After intra oral check up done. Explained to patient it's called as black triangle or also known as open gingival embrasures.
This happens when gums start to recede if the bone underneath them starts to disappear.
1st visit scaling and polishing done.
2nd visit black triangle closure with composite resin.
After treatment, patient was very happy that patient can smile with confidence back.
I'm happy that i made the patient happy and brought back the confidence.

Patient came for extraction, Initially i was suit up with my PPE but eventually when i knew it's a small girl, i removed my PPE and maintained with glove and mask. Patient was still scared and started crying. I let her to sit with her mother and started conversation to be her friend and slowly shared her interest and she agreed to sit alone. Using Tell Show Do technique and little bit of dr.smilehero touch, manage to create the trust for an extraction using topical anesthetic. Procedure was done well. Patient was cooperative and happy to leave with ballon and stickers.
Handling kids is not easy but with love and passion, you can win their hearts!

Patient came with history of sensitivity on upper right back tooth (17). Patient had filling done previously on the same tooth but there was leakage and that was the cause of the sensitivity.
TTP-, No mobility, Air blow test +, Sensitive while gargling.
Old filling removal done under LA, previously placed CaOH and GIC lining retained.
New composite filling done until gingiva margin.
Patient never felt sensitivity after that. Patient was happy.
Follow up after 1 week done, no sensitivity or pain.

Patient came for filling on upper front tooth (11). Mesial caries not involving pulp. Caries removal done.
Patient was having diastema previously.
Direct composite restoration done 11. Filling extended up to midline to cover the diastema while 21 need to be restored to completely close the diastema. Patient will follow up soon for 21 composite restoration. Then patient can have a better confident smile soon.
