A couple of months ago a lady came to the Ballard-Carlisle Historical and Genealogical Society asking how to secure a Headstone for a Civil War Veteran. Knowing how to do this I gave her the paperwork and told her to fill it out and send, telling her where to have the stone shipped and we would set when it came in and would later have a memorial service. It came in a couple of weeks ago and we (men of Col. Charles A. Wickliffe Camp 2337) set it today, Oct. 12, 2023.

As of Saturday, August 12th Rodney Dennis became the Commander of Colonel Charles A Wickliffe SCV Camp 2337 and I want to thank Camp members for trusting me with this position. I will do my best to keep the Camp in order and running as smoothly as former Commander Joe Ford left it to me. Thanks again. I can be reached [email protected] or on this page. Camp Lt. Commander is Franky Langham. All other officers will stay the same.
