Low Carb | KETO | Motivation
**SURPRISE** Normally, I love surprises, but I do not like them when it comes to my carb count. Since starting keto, I have discovered that so many sauces, seasonings, drinks and more have *hidden* carbs, EVEN VITAMIN GUMMIES! Thankfully I was able to find Nutramin who makes a keto friendly multivitamin for only 1 carb per serving. It easily fits into my daily macros! As a reminder, always check your labels!!
**FUEL** Prior to my keto journey, I viewed food as a means to please my inner self. I would ask myself, “what am I CRAVING,” and then succumb to whatever that may be.
This journey has taught me to view food as FUEL.
YES, you can still eat good.
YES, there are easy things to substitute to still enjoy your favorite meals.
YES, you can do this!!!!

*KETO* - So what is it? At a high level, it is considered an eating regimen where one adjusts their macros to consume a high amount of fats, moderate protein, and a very low amount of carbs.
There are many different versions of keto: Clean Keto, Lazy Keto, Dirty Keto, or a mix! This page will incorporate all three, as each day, I practice one of them. For me, this type of eating is not for a short term fix. It apart of a LIFESTYLE CHANGE! So switching it up helps me to stay on track.
If you want to learn more about acceptable foods, try to download an app where you can track carbs. I have used "Carb Manager" since the start of my journey. This has helped in understanding how many carbs are in the foods that I consumed (*YOU WILL BE SURPRISED*).
