😂 This is why I get weird looks from people at stop lights.
Finished another song today! Only 1 more to write lyrics for and then I'll have my next batch of 10 songs to submit for Copyright! My goal was to have them written and submitted by the end of this month. So I'm a little behind my original goal, but feeling pumped that I pushed myself as hard as I have!
You guys!!!!! I wrote 3 songs this week and it's only Wednesday! 2 from beginning to end and another got a total redo. I'm kinda in shock right now actually. And I also finished recording a cover song! Woot woot! 💪 🙌 🤘 🎉🌈✨
I'm about 3/4 done recording the piano to the next song I hope to share with you all, and so far it changes time signature 12 times! Why do I do this to myself???! 🤯🧐😬
Listening to Evanescence's album 'Fallen' is like eating potato chips. One song just isn't enough. 😅

I'm currently watching the documentary 'The Beatles: Get Back' and it's so encouraging to see how messy songwriting is, even for one of my all time favorite bands. It's also quite mind blowing/ inspiring to see the lengths to which they pushed themselves. Feeling ready to do the same! 💪 🥳

Hello all you happy people! I know it seems like I've been MIA for a few months, but the ball hasn't stopped rolling. I've just had a few bumps in the road (more on that later). Tomorrow marks the one year anniversary of my grandma, June's, death and I will preview a song I wrote in her memory. I can't wait to get my music out to you, but as I continue to learn and grow it takes more time for me to do things thoroughly. Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained
I’m taking this one step at a time. As an introvert, sharing my talents and opening myself up is really scary. Just the thought of my music ever outgrowing my bedroom studio makes me woozy. So I’m trying to just focus on the enjoyment of creating music that I like and can be proud of while opening myself up to growth. In my experience growth can never really happen without first learning how to be vulnerable. Vulnerability is, after all, not only how we grow, but also how we connect. To which the most forefront in my mind comes music. This is an awfully grand adventure. Yet, as in every adventure, there must first be something ventured.
