A song that a lot of you have reached out to me about 😂 this one is about the pressure of “keeping up” (w the Kardashians), and how this affects our life planning. I’ve found most goals are fundamentally good. But I realized even working towards the right things for the wrong reasons is neither healthy nor sustainable. I often asked myself as a kid, what would I do without that title— “Atty.”?
I’m still trying to figure it out haha

Had every intention of spamming your feeds all day yesterday about this release, but alas, covid happened and I instead spent hours nursing a migraine. So there ya go.
About a Boy (aka voice memo_25(2019)) was written IN 2019 about, yup. I wrote it as kind of a spiritual sister to ‘greatest’ that shows when you slow down, you start to appreicate others, their laughter, their smiles, and their entire humanity much more.
This is probably my favorite child haha thanks to renzguitarmusic for his amazing ear, and guitar skills and to LUSTBASS his 🤌immaculate taste in sounds/instruments and for ultimately breathing 🔥 into the final material
Of course to Oliver and Kaya for the amazing photoshoot (where i was also pretty sick 🤧)

‘Greatest In The Kingdom’ was a term that I took from a bible verse that talks (loosely) about how one must see with innocent eyes again (like a kid) in order to experience life fully. Matthew 18:4 (or was it 5?)
The past two years have been whirlwind. All of us were so obsessed, trying to find meaning amidst mess, that we ended up selling ourselves short, and forgot that meaning needed not to be forced onto life. It kinda just is.
Nowadays, I find myself stopping more often, to remind myself that everyday moments holds so much value in and of itself.
As someone living a vain and corporate life, I fall for the traps and ignore a lot of God’s warning signs haha Inevitably, I learned how important it is to train our eyes to see beyond the frills, and live like a kid again that is constantly yearning for a parents embrace at night.
I guess It’s a mindset to form, and a part of the eternal struggle. but such is life, and the journey is actually pretty rad.
