Two things to always have on hand to leave your spray tan appointment:
-loose, dark clothes
-an umbrella

Loose and dark clothes prevent the tan from staining your clothes as well as the clothes streaking the tan. The umbrella is in case it is raining when you leave so that the drops do not streak the tan!

You might be thinking.. what does deodorant have to do with spray tans? Let's talk

Deodorant is on the "what not to wear" list for before your appointment. This is because deodorant can create a barrier between the skin and the tan which can cause your armpits to look pale compared to the rest of your body.

There is also the dreaded green armpit that can happen from a chemical reaction between the bronzer in the tan and the aluminum in the deodorant.

Knowing how long to let your tan develop is crucial for getting your desired shade!

Developing time is the time between getting your tan and the first rinse. The longer the spray tan solution is left on, the darker your tan will be. The venetian 1 hour and shower in a hour tan solutions have the same developing times.
Light: 1-2 hours
Medium 2-3 hours
Dark: 3 hours

Customized tan solutions should be rinsed within 4-6 hours unless discussed otherwise with the spray tech!

What's better than a good tan line? A tan line 6 days post tan!!
