I had an incredible time performing last night at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. My studio mates and I presented a program of music by Pauline Viardot for her 200th birthday celebration. She was an incredible and intellectual singer, composer, and woman. I can only hope I āgrow upā to be like her one day.

This is one of her pieces that she wrote in French based on a Russian poem by Pushkin. I decided to take the poem and translate it back into Russian.
