This dance,lifestyle and cult has its roots in New York, in the 60- 80s, in ballrooms that were dance floors with theatrical design, surrounded by neon lights, glitter and tinsel fringe, where they challenged each other with fights for style,beauty and movement, sometimes mimicking the famous catwalk, halfway between a fashion show and a nightclub.
