Attention BocceBallers! Hope you are enjoying the 'offseason' but getting excited for another summer of Northern Illinois bocce ball tournaments!! Below is the schedule as of today. We are still working on a couple of dates for some hosts and have a couple of Sundays open as well so if you know of a place that would like to host one, please message and let me know. Otherwise, time to 'Save the Date' for as many of the scheduled tourneys as possible!~Get yourself a partner lined up and come have some fun playing the great game of Bocce. We have fantastic hosts, so we definitely want to support them on these dates (and anytime we can!) so we can continue this great tradition. Still $5 a player/$10 a team to keep it affordable for all.

Not one, but TWO separate tournaments to use those bocce skills this weekend! First up is Saturday, 6/24th with a return to Benson Fest in the Benson park~Sign Up begins at 12:00 noon with a 1:00 PM start time. Come join us for some bocce ball fun and other activities taking place for their Sequicentennial Celebration!
The next day-Sunday, 6/25th-is a return to the Rutland Chicken Picnic~another great tourney from the past. Sign-Up at 12:30 PM with a 1:00 start time as well. Get yourself a partner (or keep the same one from Saturday:) and come play!
Lastly, thank you to Minonk Lanes for hosting our first outing of the year on 6/11th. We had 8 teams. Congrats to Marcus & Nancy on winning the championship and thanks to all who came out to play-it was a fun day!

Happy 4th of July!! Thanks to all who came out to play last Sunday at Oliver’s! We had 10 teams, & Tate & Koy took 1st on the Championship side and Brett & Tom winning Consolation. It was a beautiful day for bocce, and it was so great to reunite and play some bocce! Thanks again to Oliver’s for hosting us-it is greatly appreciated🙂.

We are starting later this year as late May and early June are full of graduations/parties/weddings, etc. Please please try to save the date for as many of these tourneys as possible, get yourself a partner, and come play! We have wonderful hosts, but we need to support them if we want to keep this going in the future! Still $5 a player/$10 a team-in a world where the cost of everything seems to be going up, we are keeping this as usual for this year:)

Was so very sorry to get this news yesterday...Father Neri was a competetive, fun, and greatly skilled bocce player. We had so many wonderful times with him ( and I think he got some great sermon material at some of our outings-lol😂!) Please say a prayer for 'our father' when you have a chance...🎚

It is with great sadness that we share with you, our parish community, that Fr. Neri Greskoviak (Lourdes' Pastor, 2001-2014) passed away yesterday, Sunday, August 15, 2021.
May his soul and the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God Rest in Peace. Amen.

And...just like that...it's August and time for our last tourney before Labor Day! So...time to get those arms conditioned and ready to go by playing this Sunday, 8/15 at Oliver's in Toluca! Sign up begins at 12:30 pm with a 1:00 pm start time. Oliver's is the perfect place to get some practice in on the same 'turf' as Labor Day Sunday so please get yourself a partner and come join us to get your bocce on!
*Thanks so much to Mona's for being the usual wonderful host for our tournament last weekend! We had 10 teams with Dallas & Dewby taking 1st on the Championship side and Ken & Cynthia winning the Consolation-congrats to them!
