Tonight was my last DJ gig of the year!!! I decided in January that I wanted to learn something new this year and I chose DJing 🤭 My goal was to be able to DJ by this holiday season and I ended up starting back in June, 6 months earlier than I thought I could! It’s so fun and I can’t wait to see how it will be a part of my life in 2024. Thank you and for having me tonight! 🥰

I was thinking the other day about how much I’ve grown since moving to Vancouver. How much more I know about life and people and business and myself. And then I had the thought of how much MORE I’ll learn in the next ten years and beyond that. It’s funny. In the moment you can be so sure of yourself and what you think you know and then time passes and life happens and you can become a completely different person. Anyway, I don’t know if this caption made any sense. Just something I think about a lot 🤭 Thank you for these brand new DJ shots!!!

I think, maybe, I’m doing what I’m supposed to be doing with my life. (Even though I joke about quitting and moving to a house on a mountain when things get hard) I had a conversation today with a friend about how I look forward to performing every night. That’s why days off are hard for me sometimes! Especially if I’m having a rough day - I just can’t wait to sing and have that feeling of comfort settle in. I’ll be singing .bar tomorrow (Wednesday) night 7-10pm!

Let the holiday festivities BEGIN 😍😍😍

Not sure who needs these reminders today but here are a few random things I remind myself of on a regular basis 🤍

* Not everyone is going to like me or “get” me and that’s just fine.

* It’s not my job to make everyone happy or please everybody (and it’s no one else’s responsibility to make me happy either lol that’s on me)

* Stop doom scrolling 🙃

* It’s ok to protect my energy by surrounding myself with people that lift me up, inspire and encourage me and letting go of people (as hard as it is) that intentionally OR unintentionally do the opposite.

I recently had the opportunity to open for for a couple of his Life is a Highway tour dates 😊 I had such a great time performing in Trail and Cranbrook, signing merch (like… WHAT!?!! 😍), visiting old friends, walking in falling snow and being interviewed on 2Day FM Radio by an old family friend, Dennis Walker. So grateful for the opportunities I’ve had in this life 🥹🤍

Remember when I used to post daily gratitude posts? I stopped posting those but still do it in my journal.. when I remember to… here a few things I’m grateful for lately.

- Friends that check in on you for no reason. Just cause they care about your well being.
- The insanely beautiful fall weather we’ve had so far.
- The patience I’ve been giving myself lately. Not beating myself up for things I feel I haven’t done well enough on or done fast enough. Treating myself more like how I treat my friends and practicing what I preach haha

Super excited to announce that I’ll be opening for Tom Cochrane in Cranbrook (Nov 7-Sold Out) and Trail (Nov 9 tix still available!) !!!! Can’t wait to go back to the Kootenays and perform close to where I studied music at the beginning of my music career 🥹

Tonight was truly one of the most special shows I have ever played. The amount of support and love circulating in tonight was indescribable. Thank you so much for having us and thank you to the incredible group of people who purchased tickets and sold out my first ever show at a venue I've wanted to play at since I first started pursuing my dream. I am currently drinking my lemon and honey tea on cloud 9. Amazing.
