🗣 “While we always want to win, I believe racing here at Zwartkops against some local drivers is always challenging. So to finish on the national podium is satisfying. Well done to all for a great event, and a huge thank you to the ANGRi Racing crew for their hard work this weekend in some hot conditions.”

RESULTS

I managed a double podium in another closely-contested round of national Mini ROK racing. My best result came in the final heat when I finished as the runner-up. Once again I couldn't do it without the incredible ANGRi Racing team.

ROUND 3: IDUBE RACEWAY
A good day and ending off the weekend with a solid tally of points.
We started the racing portion of today's programme and gained two positions in the first heat to finish in fifth place. A small issue saw the kart cutting out off the line in Race 2, but I managed to recover it and get into the midfield battle, finishing in ninth place. In Race 3, we were part of a good three-kart tussle for fifth and finished in fifth place.
Idube Raceway is a tough learning curve, but we had a great weekend and I am looking forward to coming back here again.

ROUND 2 – VEREENIGING
A good start today, but only one points-scoring finish from it.
Following a good tussle in Race 1, we took a third place. The rain came down in Race 2 and we were involved in a few small on-track incidents. We finished the race, but down in 19th place after a promising start. An incident early in Race 3 saw us losing two laps and finishing in 18th place.
We’ll bounce back. We know we had excellent pace and we will build on this.
