If you can’t see it, you can’t make it work! This is for the ones that are new with this lure! For me took a while to understand the perfect retrieve according to conditions and now I’m able to get sea bass, bluefish and hundreds of saddled breams! What you have to do first is to find the best retrieve of your reel in order to keep only the snout of this lure out of the water in order to make it work. During time you will know how to do it even at night! Just practice and keep a good eye contact with it until you find the best speed to keep it steady at the level it needs! This is the same for all Bay Ruf Manic and Bay Ruf Manic fish sizes!

Rough Trail Aomasa

A new report from DUO Mexico`s Ezequiel Romandetto...and let me just say that`s it a huge one:

"The search for the red snapper Day 1

After waiting for so long finally the day came,we got on the boat and after 6 hours aprox. we got to our destination. We arrived at sunrise and started preparing our gear without a doubt the Rough Trail Aomasa 188-148.

Aomasa would be the star, first casting we caught some stuff but the one we were looking for did not show yet,but we knew he would show sooner or later.

Finally the first attack a short fight and the rocks were not in our favor,we got new lure and lines and went to another spot.I knew it would not be easy ,more attacks different spots ,finally a big snapper attacked but I lost the battle.Without hesitation I continued at a spot far out with big waves and rocks suddenly an explosion announced a gig Snapper atack. With the break on the reel and my hand helping the fight started ,neither of us was willing to give up ,it was so powerful that almost at the end my rod broke and I thought that I would lose him again but I was able to bring hi in with what was left of my rod ,a 77 libras Red Snapper.

En Busca de una Cubera : Día 1º

Después de tanto esperar llego el día , nos subimos a la panga y luego de navegar unas 6 horas aproximadamente llegábamos a nuestro destino .

apenas amaneció armamos equipo y sin dudar el señuelo estrella iba a ser el Rough Trail Aomasa 188 -148 , primeros casteo y logramos buenas capturas pero aun el invitado principal no se hacia presente , pero sabíamos que no tardaría en llegar .

al fin el primer ataque de cubera gigante y la pelea no duro mucho las piedras jugaron a su favor , sin mas otra vez armamos líder , señuelo nuevo y a seguir buscando en otro pedregal .

Sabía que no iba a ser fácil el propósito . nuevos casteos , ataques y al fin otra nueva oportunidad , un cubera gigantesca y otra vez perdí la batalla .

Sin que los ánimos cayeran no me daría por vencido y nos acercamos a una zona de oleajes fuerte donde no solo tenia las piedras en contra , primer casteo y una mega explosión anunciaba que tenia una nueva oportunidad , con el freno del reel a todo dar , ayudado por mi mano trataba de frena la embestida de la cubera hacia las piedras , ni ella ni yo cedíamos , fue tan potente que casi al final de la pelea mi caña truena , pensando lo peor . Otra vez no!!!! ; pero al contrario la suerte corrió hacia mi lado y con la parte que aún mantenía en mis manos pude subirla , al fin lograba la tan ansiada Cubera , una inmensa cubera de mas de 77lbs ."
