The Rutland Ploughing Match

We have had to take the difficult decision to cancel the ploughing match on Saturday.
With the rain we have had overnight and with what is forecast for Saturday morning, we don’t feel it would be safe getting the vehicles In and out of the field.
We will be contacting all of the entries individually.
We hope for better weather next year!

We have everything from horse ploughing, steam ploughing to the very latest dealership demonstrators and everything in between confirmed for next Saturday 4th November.
Don’t forget to call in.

There is plots available and still time to get an entry in if you would like to take part.

We are looking for a site to hold this years 2022 ploughing match, ideally in Rutland, but would not rule out a site close to the county.
If you think you might have something to suit, please get in touch!

Results from last weeks ploughing match

A massive thank you to everyone that made today a success. It was great to see so many people ploughing, including horses and steam engines. Also great to see all of the spectators. We hope to see you all again next year! 🚜 😀

The ploughs are here! Ready to start at 9.30.

We are set up and ready for the match tomorrow morning. Ploughing is from 9.30 - 1.30, over 90 entrants, with everything from horse ploughing up to the modern day tractor and ploughs taking part.
