ADDRESSING THE RECENT HIKE IN HOSTEL FEE

Solidality greetings to the entire students populace of the foremost teacher’s training institute in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The Students Union Government, have been made aware of the recent announcement by the school management regarding the increase in hostel fees for the upcoming academic session. We understand that this news has caused concern and worry among students, and we wish to address these concerns.

We would like to assure all students that we are taking this matter serious, and we are in the process of setting up a meeting with the school management to discuss the issue and find a middle ground that is fair and reasonable for all students.

We urge all students to remain calm and not to pay the fees yet until we have had a chance to meet with the school management and discuss the matter thoroughly. We understand that the cost of living is already high, and we are committed to ensuring that the financial burden on students is not further increased.

We will update all students on the outcome of our meeting with the school management and any further developments regarding the hostel fees. We assure you that we will do everything in our power to ensure that the interests of students are well-represented and protected.
