Jesus offers comfort, spiritual rest, and relief from the burdens of life, whether those burdens are emotional, spiritual, or physical. The verse emphasizes Jesus' compassion and His desire to provide solace to those who seek Him, assuring them that they can find refuge and rest in His presence.

This verse is a reminder to stay committed to prayer, remaining alert to God's work in our lives, and cultivating a heart of gratitude.

To love in deed and in truth means to demonstrate the authentic quality of our love with our actions, just as Jesus did. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ.

The foundational truth of Christ Jesus our Saviour, Who died to redeem mankind and reunite sinners with their Creator God, is that Christ Jesus is the Word made flesh. Christ Jesus is the Almighty Creator of all things, for we read that by Him were all things created.

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟔| Graduation Day (Vacation Bible School)

As children grow in their knowledge of Jesus, the Fruit of the Spirit becomes the natural expression of their developing faith. May all of the fruit of the spirit be in their hearts and minds as they continue to grow.

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟓| "A successful lesson is not just about what was taught but about the smiles and understanding that come from it"

The last lesson of VBS is always significant. It is a culmination of weeks of teachings, activities, and growth. This final session is not just about wrapping up the curriculum but also about reflecting on the journey the children have embarked upon. The theme of this final lesson often ties together the various lessons learned throughout the program, reinforcing core values and messages that have been emphasized.

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟒| "When children know Jesus, they find a guiding light that will illuminate their path throughout their lives.”

Teaching of Jesus can provide children with guidance on how to live a life that reflects kindness, forgiveness, and love, shaping their character and actions.

Overall, knowing Jesus can play a significant role in shaping a child’s values, identity, and approach to life.

𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟑| The Essential Values of Peace, Patience, Kindness, and Goodness in Children's Development

During the day 3 we teach the children the values of peace, patience, kindness, and goodness is essential for their development. Peace helps them manage conflicts calmly, patience fosters resilience and persistence, kindness builds empathy and positive relationships, and goodness encourages ethical behavior and integrity. These values collectively support emotional intelligence and social well-being.

𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟐 | CHILDREN LEARNS ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF JOY

Children engage in various activities that help them understand and embrace joy. Through Bible stories, songs, crafts, and games, they learn about characters from the Bible who exemplified joy despite their challenges. For example, they might explore the story of Paul and Silas, who sang hymns of praise while imprisoned, demonstrating how joy can transcend difficult situations.

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is more than just a summer activity for children; it is a vibrant educational experience that nurtures their spiritual growth, builds a sense of community, and fosters personal development. It offers a structured program designed to engage children in a series of activities that blend fun with faith-based learning. Through interactive lessons, creative activities, and communal experiences, It plays a significant role in shaping young minds and hearts.

The beauty of this truth is that God is not only before us, He's beside us, and He is all around us. When everything else seems unsure, you can rest assured that God is always with you. Not sometimes, not just when things are going well, no, God is always with you.

𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤 | Lucod church members came together to create a diverse array of vegetable and gluten dishes during the IEL festival. We expressed deep gratitude to Pastor Flores, Pastor Labang, and his wife for organizing this event. Overall, Lucod church ranked in the top three across all activities.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Lucod church for their unwavering spirit and steadfast support shown towards the participants.

The crucifixion of Jesus Christ stands as a powerful symbol of sacrifice and love. His immense suffering speaks to the depths of God's love for humanity, willing to give His own son for our forgiveness. While his death represents the darkness of suffering, it also offers the promise of transformation and redemption. Through Jesus' sacrifice, we are given the hope of overcoming sin and experiencing a renewed life.

𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤| 1 Timothy 4:12: "Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity."

In honor of Global Youth Day with the theme "Show up in the Cities" the youth, together with our ever supportive members of Lucod Church, actively engage in providing books and prayers to families residing in Barangay Baculin, especially in the Relocation area. Additionally, they organize feeding programs for the children in that locality.

Let's spread love by engaging in this ministry.

We extend our condolences for the passing of Sis. Benigna Pasco Serdan. May the comforting embrace of our Heavenly Father bring further healing to the grieving family. Additionally, we wish to inform you that Sis. Beni's remains are currently at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Lucod Baganga, Davao Oriental, We kindly request your presence as we offer our condolences and support to the grieving family during this difficult time. And her interment is scheduled for Thursday October 5, 2023.
