Join us virtually this Thursday for “Babyproofing Your Relationship” at 7:45 PM ET.

When we expand our families, our relationships with our partners inevitably change. These relationship challenges—while difficult—can be a huge opportunity for growth and expansion. In this class, we talk about common challenges parents face and how to overcome them while holding compassion for ourselves and each other.

This virtual workshop is co-hosted by Dr. Alex Kelman of Canopie and Jamie O’Day, co-founder of , a leader in pregnancy and parenting support and education. Partners are encouraged to attend!

The concept of the village is perhaps never more relevant than when it comes to raising children.

Elders, family and neighbors would jump in to not only help with nursing, holding, caring for baby—but also to help care for mom. But today, parents—and more often than not moms—are asked to bear the burden of raising their babies ALONE, of taking on the domestic duties ALONE.

🔹Moms are isolated.
🔹Moms are overwhelmed.
🔹Moms have lost themselves in motherhood.

At Canopie, we're helping moms feel less isolated and more connected to a community of mothers just like them.

🔹We hear you.
🔹We see you.
🔹We're here to help you.

If you haven't already, you've encountered LOTS of (unsolicited) advice on how to mother.

Your own mother, your mother-in-law, your sister, your aunt, your next-door neighbor, the stranger in the grocery store who has no kids but lots of opinions...

The only one that truly matters though, is yours.

We believe that inside every mother, there is a little voice, an instinct, on the best thing to do in any given situation for their baby, for their family. Sometimes, though, it just needs a little help getting out.

At Canopie, we help you cultivate emotional confidence so that voice inside of you gets louder and louder and louder. Pretty soon, all of the other opinions become a whisper, and you trudge forward mothering with your best foot forward.
