So many things happened these last few weeks, I’m only starting to clear my head as I am on a three-day break between Nine Pound Hammer and Nashville P***y ‘s tours. I even turned 40 on the 8th of July and I didn’t take the time to thank you all for your birthday wishes ❤️
There are many things I wanted to post here for which I didn’t take the time to. Well, here’s the first one, and it’s a nice one: a band and crew shot with Fishbone at the end of the tour last month after our last show at COPENHELL in Denmark!
That tour ended beautifully with four huuuuuge shows with Sum 41 at Zénith de Lille, as a headliner of the Warzone stage at Hellfest Open Air Festival and then at the mighty Bataclan, and finally at CopenHell with GUNS and ROSES and Billy F Gibbons!
I had such fun times with these guys, their reputation as a live band is well deserved!

I am thrilled to announce that I will be mixing the legendary Fishbone with the original line-up during their next European tour starting in less than two weeks!
We will be joining forces with Sum 41 at the Zénith de Lille, and will be headlining the Bataclan and the Warzone stage at Hellfest Open Air Festival among other great festivals and venues. I simply can’t wait!

People who know me well know how much I love trees. I try to plant at least 15 of them each year in the studio orchard. But, for 2023, something special is happening. I was lucky enough to enter a program that gave me the chance to get my hands on 150 baby trees! Besides recording an album for a British artist I told you about a couple of weeks ago, planting those trees is what I’ve been doing lately.
My goal is to create what we call in French a forest garden in which one can walk, pick a fruit and eat it any time of the year.
All of this is meant for biodiversity, education purposes, people walking by, friends and family, and musicians recording here of course!

My dearest friend Cansu regularly reports to me what’s happened and what is still going on in her country days after the earthquakes. Turkey and Syria are living a terrible moment.
If you can, please contact or donate to your local rescue NGOs so they can keep on searching for missing people and bring food, water and shelter to those in need.
This is a humanitarian disaster and we must help them overcome the horror. ❤️🇹🇷

I don’t know about you, but for me, that was a tough year, full of bumps on the road, but, fortunately, full of great encounters, live shows, recording sessions and unexpected phone calls as well. And now is the time for me to thank all the bands and artists who trusted me with their music in 2022.
