The last page scribblings

****The lockdown and the vase*****
Baba shouted from the door," Seema, I'll be back in a while". Seema was trying to fix the broken vase which accidentally dropped yesterday.
Suddenly, Rohan got up from his chair. Looking at the doctor's prescription in Baba's hand he said, " Baba, give me the prescription. I'll get the medicines".
Baba was surprised to hear this. It was almost six months now that they spoke to each other.
" It's ok beta, you continue your work. I'm not going too far" said Baba without making an eye contact.
Taking the prescription from Baba's hand Rohan said," please stay at home, it's not safe for you to go out".
Rohan wore the mask and went out.
Baba sat down on the chair trying not to cry.
By now, Seema was able to fix the broken vase.
" This is fixed" she said to Baba with a smile.
" But it still has cracks", Baba said in low voice.
Seema kept the vase aside and replied thoughtfully " But some bonds are strong and try to hold on even if cracked".
