Wedding Dress Tip: Use a crochet hook for buttons!

These days most dresses with buttons have a zipper to make it easy to put on. But, you still have to fasten the buttons over the zipper. Don't forget to have someone do this for you! It can be difficult to pinch the tiny loops. Using a crochet hook makes this much easier, but a safety pin or bobby pin can help too!

Are you going to write personal vows? Vow books are a great way to add some of your wedding style into your ceremony and are a sentimental keepsake after the wedding. Also, make sure your photographer gets photos of these small personal details.

I love these unique chairs for this micro wedding! If you are having a tiny wedding you might consider buying or repurposing chairs, glasses, and other items you will reuse in your home rather than renting. This adds a personal and sustainable touch to your wedding décor.

Don't forget to set aside some special items for your photographer to take some detail shots. It is a great way to remember the smaller items that add to your wedding story but don't get a lot of attention from guests. Here are some items to add:
- Rings
- Ring Box
- Jewelry/Cuff Links
- Shoes
- Tie
- Ribbon in your wedding colors or what was used on your bouquet
- Invitation/program/menu
- Veil
- Flowers (bouquet, bout, or leftover blooms)
- Perfume/Cologne
- Any other meaningful or decorative items

A: It depends on your priorities!

If "intentional details" and "wedding style incorporated wherever possible" are some of your main priorities then custom menus are a great way to include your style in another area of the wedding. It adds a personal touch that guests will appreciate.

However, if your priorities are "budget and sustainability" or "fun and lively dance floor" then custom menus might not be a good fit for you. Printed items are often seen as a waste of paper and money since any information your guests need can be sent digitally for free. Even if you can afford the menus, you might not want to worry about the extra detail if you just want your gets to get up and get dancing.

Set your priorities early on in your planning process so you can decide if these small details are something you want to include in your wedding.
