SNOWMOBILERS NEEDED!!!! All over Vermont the trails have been destroyed by the flooding! Clubs and volunteers everywhere are out in their spare time doing what they can to repair, and improve the trail network. Now is the time to reach out to clubs and see what you can do to help!!!!

No better way to spend a hot summers day than hanging with a bunch of snowmobilers talking about snowmobiling at the VAST annual meeting. I got to see good friends and meet some new ones as well!

Dreaming of those nice brisk mornings with 2 stroke smoke drifting through the air. I need some tips..... Going through some gear make sure all is squared up, and I am reminded that yet again I need some boots. I have struggled for years to find a pair of boots that can stand up to the rigors of snowmobiling. With the combination of trail/tree work, riding, lots of on and off, many times of kicking snow, wrenching in the shop, as well as exposure to the elements. They need to be durable, and comfortable. I have tried a fair amount of name brand, from the work boot end of the spectrum to the high end snowmobile boot, let's hear what has worked for you. Not a brand bashing post, nor an advertising post. Legitimate suggestions only please. Keep making the best of this heat wave until good weather returns!

Sometimes you need to take some time away from the responsibilities of life and just do some club things! Someone needs to clean up the playground after the storms. NOTICE!!!! I have received a ton of feedback about Snowman's Capture the Flag! In the interest of clarifying the event for everyone, I have decided to do a facebook live so that I can review the details with everybody, answer some questions that I've already received, and it's an opportunity for anybody else to come in and ask questions of me and get a live answer. We will take this opportunity to discuss exactly how the game is played, how it is being funded, and who it benefits! I will be introducing you exactly who Snowman VT is, how to event came to be, explain how additional sponsors can sign on, and how individuals can help. I Will be doing this Facebook live on Tuesday, June 20th . I hope to see you then.

🚨🚨ATTENTION ALL SNOWMOBILERS, VERMONT SNOWMOBILE CLUBS AND SUPPORTING BUSINESSES! The Snowman would like to challenge you all to a friendly game of Capture the Flag!🏁 If you have wanted to volunteer for your club, yet can't do physical labor, THIS IS YOUR CHANCE! All you have to do is ride at your own pace, wherever you want to go, riding with friends and family, and you will be helping your club! There will be approximately 200 flags statewide, flags are captured by capturing a photo of the rider at the flag! For those that are hardcore, we have a border to border run that will gain access to ADDITIONAL PRIZE POOL! This is a charity event filled with lots of fun, excitement and prizes! All cash generated from this game will be donated to the winning clubs! There is a maximum donation, so if we do BETTER than expected on donations, more clubs will receive donations! This game is FREE to all riders and Clubs! Cash donations will be provided by Snowman VT and supporting VT businesses. Lots of cool prizes for individuals to win from merch and door prizes to gift certificates for supporting businesses. Riders must register through their club, so make sure to reach out to your clubs and express interest in playing! Registration doesn't officially begin until November 1st, however, please do let me know if you are interested in playing so that I can gauge interest and scale the infrastructure accordingly. This event is statewide! An event page is currently being set up to establish rules and guidelines for the game! Link will be posted on my page. If any Businesses that are interested in participating please reach out to me. Must be accessible to the snowmobile trail network to receive a flag. Thank you to all that have given their all! The freedoms we are blessed with, the rights that we hold, and the tools we are given to be successful, have come at a price. A price that we cannot repay. Today is about those that paid that bill. Thank you!

Those that ride, please take some time this weekend to get out and help green up Vermont! As snowmobilers, We are granted access to some of the most beautiful places in Vermont. Some of the most secluded places in Vermont, and the least we could do is help green up this beautiful place!

Respect....The number one key to success in snowmobileing is respect. It is NOT optional in the snowmobile world. You need to respect the machine you're riding, respect the landowners that have given you a place to ride, respect the clubs that maintain the trails that you ride, and respect the people in the community around you that have helped this sport grow! The snowmobile life is about building bridges not burning them. The snowmobile community is one that involves thousands of people donating their time, money, and resources to create an environment that people can get together and do something fun! Respecting that and contributing to that, Will ultimately create success in the snowmobileing world! Here is a bridge I had the pleasure of helping a club to build, and also had the pleasure of seeing a long lasting relationship get made on that same bridge! Make sure you thank a landowner and get with your local club to see how you can help build a bridge!

Good morning everyone! Just admiring this stack of ladies in for maintenance. That's four more sleds ready to go when the snow flies.

Snowman VT's new home office is progressing! Now if I can just figure out how to keep it a cool 25° year round, I won't have to take my gear off for the summer time...... Who thinks I can convince the wife??

INSIDER SECRET.......The Teddy Bear and myself have consulted together to determine that next season we will have an awesome snow year. We believe we all will be riding from opening day through the season. Next season will be EPIC. We are not using any of the usual weather informations to forecast this, this is purely Mr. Teddy Bears excellent forecasting skills. Make sure you are ready, It is coming quicker than you think!
