It’s not often that I get away…but when I do, I stay all day!!! 😂🤣 I got a chance to get away, kid free to get my starter locks done, used my gift card from Christmas to grab Slutty vegan (my fave), and made it home to light a lavender candle from illuminnate.org to round out the night after a good talk with my family with an early bedtime. Those moments seem small, but it was a nice reset. So, even if you aren’t stressed, take a few moments to reset and remember yourself. You will be all the better for it! .org

If you are a special needs parent with a child like mine, you learn how to duck and move to avoid swinging fists, 🥊kicking feet, and biting teeth. 😬Due to his disorder, he has sensory issues, sometimes doesn’t like to be held, changed or bathed 🧼 without trying to put me against the ropes. 🤼♀️However, over time, I have learned how to be quite swift. If you are new to this journey, just know every day is a learning curve and it will get better. By the way, here are a couple of tools that may be beneficial for bath time (check the comments). Check to see if your insurance will cover.

Today it hit me that I need to start teaching my oldest son how to protect my medically fragile child in the event that there is an emergency. Use this video to prompt a conversation with your precious babies to make sure you have a plan that the entire family can execute!
