My mom is my biggest return customer, and supporter.

When she sees a piece I made that she likes, she'd buy it. Whenever she goes out to meet her friends she always brings a sample with her to show or gift to her friends. Sometimes I'd tell mom, "Mom, for the nth time, you can't ask me for a custom order hours before your meeting because making resin pieces takes days!", but I'm grateful all the same, because I know she just wants to flex her daughter's works 🤣🥰

I'm blessed to have a supportive mom like mine 💐 Thank you for helping your children dream higher 💚

I ACCIDENTALLY COLORED MY HAIR GREEN 🤣🤣🤣

This happened a few days ago. I was trying to tone my bleached hair that was getting brassy, then I kinda went crazy with the hair dye and it completely dyed my hair instead 🤣 good thing it turned out okay 😌

Naalala ko tuloy paano ko naisip yung design ng hairclip na suot ko. May mga hair clip ako dati na natanggal na yung original design. Dahil nagsusubok din ako ng zero-waste lifestyle naisip kong bigyan ng bagong buhay yung sirang hairclip gamit yung sariling design ko. Nilagyan ko ng green na flower yung hairclip then ta-dah! May hairclip na ko na naging inspiration for my last collection 😁

Ang galing lang nung mga bagay na hindi mo sadya, pero naging fun experience. To more serendipities 🥂

Cold brew and resin has one thing in common: you can’t rush the process.

In cold brew, the coffee has to be steeped for 12 to 22 hours before you can drink them. On the other hand, the fastest curing (drying and hardening process) epoxy resin takes about 12 hours in a good weather. The epoxy resin perfect for clear / transparent projects takes three days to cure.

So, yeah, resin art takes a lot of time and waiting. But like cold brew, the wait is worth it.

P.S. I don’t really drink black coffee, but I got hazelnut beans from Brewlad and I wanted to try them in their full unadulterated glory. Ang sarap! kaso yung tastebuds kong pang-kinder ay napaitan kaya napilitan akong dagdagan ng condensed milk. Sino dito kagaya kong di marunong uminom ng black coffee? ✋😅

The Donut Story

A few years ago, Dunkin' Donut did a big sale on their donuts. So big that people lined up for it before they even opened the store.

Some people mocked the ones who lined up for it saying "kayang kaya naman bilhin yung isang box n'yan kahit hindi nakasale".

A post of a father in response to these mockers went viral. The gist was that, he was one of the people who lined up for the donuts, because it's something their family couldn't usually afford. He told these people not to mock them, because they deserve this little happiness, too.

Recently, I saw a post that says "poor people deserve nice things too", and I agree. We're so used to seeing people of lower social class toiling and just working for their necessities, when in fact it takes more than necessities to live like a person. The non-essentials are actually essential for the human experience.

That's why I started the pay-it-forward project--so that more people can experience nice things. With the idea given by Mimi from I was able to make it so that I don't underpay myself as a maker, but at the same time make the beauty of handmade items available to more people.

Happy resurrection sunday everyone!

The thing about handmade pieces is that you can NEVER completely recreate a piece.

Just like these pink hairclips that are from different batches, so their color mixing of pink differ from each other. Or these white hairclips that are from the same batch, but have different fern sizes, so I had to modify the design a bit.
