OSU Student Abroad Program in Chile 2011

The OSU student abroad program in Chile is an 11 week program aimed at students interested in agriculture and natural resources. Students spend winter quarter (January-March) at the Universidad Austral de Chile, taking 3classes from OSU faculty (taught in English) and a class in Spanish from a faculty member at UACh. In addition, students live with Chilean families and spend 2 weeks in an internship/job shadow experience somewhere in Chile.

This is Dr. Perry's wife, Patricia, and I would like to invite all who went on this trip in 2011 to give everyone an update of where you're at, what you're doing, where you're working and photos! Wouldn't that be awesome to post a little about ourselves 9 years later? This is Greg and I at a Mexico Ruins in December, 2019 just before the Covid-19 Pandemic started. Greg continued to work and teach at Colorado State University but is doing it from home pretty much. Patricia has been running and working at her family's business for the past 2 years.
